8th Annual IFPA European Championships, 2-3-4 June Lausanne

Post by Krim »

Hello everyone,

This topic is there for you, to ask whatever you want to know about Euros this year in Lausanne. Nevertheless we don't want tons of stupid questions and our website will be there soon to answer them.

What you have to know for now:

-We would and will be glad to welcome you in Lausanne  Lausanne is a wonderful city, at the lakeshore, and the event will take place outside, 20m from the lake...

-The event will be very cheap(30€ for event, 4 nights accomodation and food for the morning & the evening), except for those who wouldn't register online, so stay tuned.

-The Website will open very soon @ www.lausanne2006.ch as will the registration through footbag.org.

-Accomodation will be basically in 2 Bunkers (170 places) and @ the camping. If you don't like it you can search for a hostel, but you'll have to pay it by your own. But wait for the website and the registration for more details.

And that's it! See you in Lausanne! :P

I know that the French crew will be coming by hoardes. There are 8 pages about Euros in the French forum. This sounds like THE competition not to miss in Europes this year!

Can't wait to see everyone.

Yo Berlin!
Nice to have your Birthday on Monday the 5th Pauline!
The freestyle competition will begin on Friday around 10 o'clock, and 9 o'clock for the Net, so the latest you can be there (freestyle right?) is Friday at 9 I'ld say... Otherwise the registration will be too much in a hurry. But we would prefer you to be there on Thursday night...

erm the lake (lLke Geneva or Lac Léman in French) is about 230 square miles. And no they don't have lifeguards all around it (as far as i remember) :) I'm pretty sure that you can swim in it though.

uhm, i have one thing, is there a conveninence store in the reach of the shred place? cause, i think it would be good too buy fruits and some food for the day, or is this all part of the all- inclusive fee when we register? i dont think so... (i think its a question that concerns everyone so i ask it in the thread!)

Swiss events are the best events I have been to. Ever. I have no doubt that Euros organisation is going to be second to none. I just can-not-wait to get there
