Epic vids from what looked like an epic event. Way to really capture the vibe of the weekend. New Penske and Peter Irish footage never hurts either. These were so much fun to watch, thank you.

Sick combos Byrin and Nick! I had no idea that session happened. Was it after the event was over?

Woah! Nice videos James! Ur editing is really cool :) and you got some really good 'moments' captured, it really gave me a feel for the players and how much of an awesome time you were having.

Lol Kevin is so gangsta

Ive watched the session one, i'll watch the big one now!

Edit:
I was very impressed with some of the effects at the start! Using the 'M' to write Montana Jam was really cool, the '3' '2' '1' with the crazy font changing was VERY cool but it seemed to kind have less transition and effects after that, it seemed more like raw footage with a few disolves added? But lots of it was in time to the music which was very cool, and I liked most of the music quite a bit :). The ambient sound was really cool too, you definatly used it in the right places!

It's a pity the quality is so low, I would have exported at 640x480 resolution if at all possible, 320x240 is very painfull ;).

Props on the video!

EDIT: the guy who hit alpine void almost bsos is NUTS!

Man I love Jim P's style!

Actually, I DON'T want critques on my editing because I don't care what other people think, seriously. Not trying to be a dick Nic (ooo rhymage) I just would rather not hear it.

Personally, I don't feel footbag videos should have snazzy, gayass effects. I just want to see the shred, who gives a fuck about effects, they just take away from the shred IMO. I have found that using no effects is almost always better than using them. No offence to footbag video editors, but raw shred vids PWNz any other videos ever made. Oh, and name titles are lame as well IMO.

Sorry to rant, but it's just how I feel. Also, who wants to download a 250+mb 10 minute video .. ?

Sorry James, I thought I was watching Zeb Jackson's video when I wrote all those comments and he did ask for feedback. I realised I had your 2 videos mixed up and I had replied to the wrong person and thought you may want some feedback on your video since I had gone and written it.
If you don't want feedback on your work perhaps you should have said so initially so I could have avoided the wasted time giving it.

I coulden't disagree more with your opinion on editing, I think that in the right places good editing can add a lot to shred footage and can make a video look very professional, something footbag often lacks.
A lot of people use effects which are distracting from the shred, but I think it's definatly possible to edit in a way that makes footbag look even cooler than it is, which is always a good thing, especially if non-footbaggers will see the video.

To be honest almost all of the well edited videos i've seen have been more entertaining than videos of raw footage.

Not using name titles, well if you are not going to include names then how do you expect anyone to know who it is shreding? Am I ment to refer to the guy who hit all the dragon stuff as 'the dragon guy'. If you don't care that not everyone knows who the players in your video are, why not just post it in your blog, i'm sure everyone who reads your blog knows who they are.

It's not very difficult to compress a 10min video at 640x480 resolution to under 100mb and still have good quality... I don't know what kind of software you are using that converts 10 mins to 250mb, even Windows Movie Maker can do a 10 min video at 640x480 at under 100mb.

Sorry to spiel, I don't mean to be lame... James ;).

I've replied to your post by PM James, no point hi-jacking your thread to give my opinion, especially since it concerns only the two of us.
