drilling session last night. 1 hr.

I've decided it's time to go guiltless. To that end I'm going to learn gyro/spinning and ducking/diving. Also am working on more interesting osis links. Also working on clipper and butterfly form, flipside needs work so I can step properly :P

drilled:
osis > whirl rpt
osis > butterfly rpt
far osis > drifter rpt
osis > pdx mirage rpt
infinity > butterfly rpt

all concentrating on form more than hitting heaps in a row. the drifter and pdx mirage ones I can tell will help my osis a lot :D

Am about to edit together footage.... anyone know where I can host the vid? Really should get an ifpa membership... if only I had ten dollars :(

edit: just reviewed footage from yesterday and I messed up my tripless a lil.

10 unique:

fairy ss butter > sidewalk > blur > legbeater > ripwalk > pdx drifter > sidewalk > blur > legbeater > pdx whirl > pdx whirl(dropped)

:D

May 18th
Length:
1 hr (Total since 19/01/06: 74 hours 30 mins)

Worked some more on clipper and butterfly form, definately seeing improvement which is encouraging.

Pete - osis > ripwalk > osis > blur > ss butter rpt. 8)

Also osis > stepping ss osis > stepping ss osis
and osis > matador, not as hard as it sounds.

ooh ooh I finally got it.... WHIRR!! After I hit it I just caught the bag, and stood there..... mouth open... didn't make a sound... just... wow, sick.

hm, what else? stepping whirl a few times more. Some general stepping practice.

whirls - 18 strongside 8 flipside. real happy with strong side... weak side... it's my clipper holding me back (that's the side I hit whirr with, it's definately not the dexing holding me back) so I really need to work on that.

after that played guiltless for about 20 minutes. Got plenty of 10-15 contact strings, half genuine. Pretty happy with that... I'd say I'm about a hair's breadth away from guiltless... I'd like to have a bit longer strings first. Man I really need to skool illusions so I can do eggbeaters midstring... I'm gonna miss my bubba :(

One of my fav links on my vid... Sidewalk > Whirl > Stepping Bubba. All leggy and low and really cool looking hehe.

oh yeah new fearless link. Bigwalk > Pdx Blender :) And the surge was definately clean.

saturday: half hour sesh. didn't have time for more :( tried some double dyno but didn't get anything.

May 21st
Length: 2x 1 hr sessions

Drilled a bunch of stuff. stepping improved, drifters were good. whirls were off :( Dad interrupted early session with a big discussion (read: argument) on everything I do wrong and how bad I am and blah blah. It pisses me of because he is so over the top and most of it is the rage built up from my bro who does everything I do but 10x worse, and he yells his head off at me. He's such a dickhead sometimes. Just pissed me off and made the session suck.

May 22nd
Length: 1 hour 30 mins + 1 hr session (Total since 19/01/06: 80 hours 30 mins)

Drilled stepping drifters and whirl again, whirl was a bit better.... straight clipper whirl really pisses me off, but I got 5 or 6 contact pdx whirl which was cool. Drilling bubba/pdx illusion too. Improvement on ducking clippers.

highlights: grave digger and 21 drifters. and 10 contacts drifter > pdx drifter rpt. Ducking butterfly b2b bs.

wooo 8 days of footbag in a row :D Can I make it 9? probably, but my buttocks/hamstring is giving me trouble, it hurts to walk... so not sure If I'm playing tonight. And my computer is being retarded and it says one of the drives is disconnected, which means no access to videos etc  fricking technology.

Hehehe shortest lived aust record?

Well done, 21 drifters is huge. Try taking the 9 pdx drifters of Jer.
