Cats are one of the main causes of the something like a third of all bird extinctions in Australia and also the extinction of many small native rodants. It is clear that they are an enviromental menace to this country and I fully support removing all cats from Australia. (or even better - putting down the ones that are hear and banning their importation).

Dogs are slightly better because they aren't as good hunters as cats but I'm not a fan either. I prefer native animals.

So, so wrong. Untill domesticated, cats were wild, and my one of my cats goes out all the time. We picked her up off the streets of new york, and she would rather die than spend all her life in a house.

oops i used the wrong "there"
leting your cats outside is what leads to them killing other wild animals for fun. Pet Cats dont need to hunt, you feed them. Letting them outside so they can kill wildlife for fun is a no no.
and pet cats are domesticated.

I've been a dog owner all my life. My sister (who now has a family of her own), used to house 2 dogs that I loved dearly. I have a Shi Tzu, who is my best buddy in the world. Very chill and very loyal.

I do like cats though. I'm just not happy when I get allergic to them sometimes.

That is definitely the largest chocolate lab I've ever seen... Actually, I'd say that is the largest lab I've ever seen. Take care of that tubby dog, his poor joints are gonna wear down to nothin.

I'm uber-allergic to cats, and only mildly allergic to some dogs. Eh, dogs are just more lovable. Cats can be too I guess. But that smell...You may have to walk dogs, but litterboxes are pretty nasty. You shouldn't have a dog in the city anyway. You should only own one if they have lots of land to run around in IMO. Cats hold the advantage there, as you can have one in the city.
