FOOTBAG THE BEGINING - MARCH 2005 TO BEGINING OF MARCH 2006

Hi Im London and i may as well get this story under way. If I remember corectly it was April the 20th, 2005 when I truly descovered that footbag was my sport. At that time I was but a regular Vancouver Canadian that had just started circle kicking. "Yes," I remember thinking, "this is truly somehting I could get into." The next day me and a friend from school decided to go to the local Puff weed paraphenalia store. Knowing nothing about footbag, (I called it Hackysck at this time), I accidentally purchased a 16 pannel hemp sand filled footbag. This was a blessing in itself it allowed me to hone my skills and truly begin to enjoy footbag as a sport.

Well it had begun lik the first steps of a child, i was taking my first kicks as a footbager. It imataly became a part of my life, spending any spre time I had kicking. I was never without a footbag; though, it was slow to begin with. By mid summe I could kick a consetuive of 9 and was just learning stalls when i first stumbled onto my first footbag website the old Flipsider and all of its trick Vids. At this time I was whearing a worn out pair of lugs work boots. I began attempting clippers first of corse. I Beleive it took me about a month to even be able to do the clipper right footed. I had become completly right Foot relient at this time.

By the end of Summer and the begining of my grade 12 year at my private school I had worn a hole through the bottom of my worne out lugs. So, I started purchsed a pair of similar shoes a yello stone Lugs work boots. At thius time my trick vocabulare was expanding i was learning my first 2 and 3 add tricks such as miarges and butter flys. I was still mostly right legged at this time, and was still calling it hackysack.

It was the beginning of March 2006 after nearly a year of kicking in a heavy pair of work boots. I was happy and cuntent shreding had become a daily routean, as well as a daily conversation and fight with others i was neglecting(girlfriend). I had lernt and expanded my freestyle into lines of stalls and was just begining to expermint with stringing tricks together. This was when i decided to by my first pair of rod lavers I purchased the whit and green and was awaiting arrival in the mail....

Hello again

The lavers  Mid March 2006

This next chapter is when footbag starts to absorbe my life (not like it hasent already). I received my Lavers about mid march it was a welcom change. I imadatly began to inprove on of the most nodicable thing when whereing lavers is the weight compared to my lugs boots i could now play solo for nearly 3 houres. I then began what would be my training to become a great footbager.

Since i had already been playing for a year i was able to do all stalls. I decided to start a footbag training regment each and every day.
- 20 min of rotating toe stalls
- 20 min of rotating inside stalls
- 20 min of rotating clipperstalls

It was a month later mid april 2006 when i nodiced how much i improved. i now rairly kicked and i was now doing basic strings of 2 add tricks. My tricks where clippers and mirages, atw, and legovers and pickups as well as a few others. It was a constant sport i spent a minimum of 1 houre a day training, and an average of 3 to 4 houres a day shredding. At this time i was begining to dotice sever pain in my right knee when i was resting and not shredding. i egnored and the pain (though it ristricted sleep), and it eventally stoped.

It was april 20 2006 a year since i knew i was to become a shredder. At this time i decided to increase my training redgment to.
- 20 min toe rotations
- 20 min inside rotations
- 20 min clipper rotations
- *20 min butterfly rotations

Now i have improved a great deal and almost concider myself a advanced freestyler. I had inproved greatly and now do strings of 3 and 2 add tricks.

so my story begins
