Since you're moving in with that other guy in Edmonton, you should get him to make a video with you in it or something.

byrin, you are my hero, props on the beast! i hope you get on film and it looks glorious! actually i hope you throw it down at shredmonton and i get to see it in person! you're getting really good bud! can't wait to shred with you again. I think the thin i like about you most is you are very humble about your abilities, like suderman. i like that in an athlete. i usually talk up my accomplishments too much for my own liking, but you express it in a very good way. i have alot of respect for you.

Byrin lives here now. We're working on getting him a network card to share the highspeed...so until then, he's not going to be on Modified.

Yes. LIVES here.

Oh, thank you everybody for everything!! That was a crazy session indeed, but I did have that Beast off my foot for Kevin a few days later (and came close to, like, two more 8O ).

I just snuck on to Kevin's computer since mine does not have internet capabilities yet, but yeah we are residing in the same condo. It's pretty sweet. I can't wait until he's ready to start kicking again, and I will pass my clipper knowledge onto him.

So footbag. I can't really remember when I last posted, or what happened since, but footbag has been doing alright. Not as hot of sessions but decent ones for sure. Last night Kevin and I hit the gym and lifted weights, then he totally coached me for an hour and a half on drills. He even spotted somethings that I never noticed about my game that I need to clean up! What a cool guy!!

- Colossus
- Alpine Marius on my weakside :D
- Gyro Dyno bs
- Torque > Mobius > Torque bs
- Torque > Pdx Torque > Torque bs
- Mobius > Rev. Swirl bs (3 contacts of that though...)
- Gyro Osis > Rev. Swirl and Spinning Osis > Rev. Swirl bsos
- Atomic Torque > Food Processor unsealed

That's all I can remember now unfortunately. The weather has been so hot these days, and has been temptign me to gout and kick though tonight I was thinking of just taking a break. I guess I'll see how I feel when the time comes.

Also, the schedule for next week was up today and I see that I don't work night shifts!! Yay!! That made me happy!

Just had a 3 hour session with Rory. I don't know why, but it felt like I was dropping things I shouldn't have been :(. Oh well. Maybe I just need to take a day and go solo drilling at the YMCA one of these days soon. I was also going to work out after, but A) I didn't have a lock to lock up my stuffs and B) I was pretty pooped.

I think I shall wash dishes, work out, do laundry, then chill and rest my legs tomorrow. Hopefully Friday brings about some good stuff.

- Hatchet > Pdx Whirl x 2 (from last Friday)
- Mobius > Spinning Clipper x 2
- Smog > Pixie ss DLO x 2
- Dolomite > Barroque
- Spinning Blender > Spinning Blender
- Blubberman
- Tomahawk bsos
- Blurry Torque bsos
- Pdx Whirl > Stepping ss Mirage > Tapdown x 2 > decent run
- A few other decent runs

Oilers are in the Stanley Cup finals after beating the Sharks 2 - 0 this evening. I'm not a hockey fan, but I'm excited!

Cool Idea. Except I think Byrin could hit most of that stuff all in one string. ;) I modified the list a little bit to make it harder for Byrin.

Monday: Marius (screw)
Tuesday: Twirl (out of whirling swirl)
Wednesday: Witchdoctor (pdx)
Thursday: Tripwalk (alpine)
Friday: Fudge (alpine and beta)
Saturday: Slapdown (beta)
Sunday: Smoke (alpine)

My knees have been acting up this past week, so for the long weekend I'm going to be stretching every night and just taking it easy with no footbag (maybe on Monday though?). To keep myself busy I think I'll just go to the gym and lift weights and do lots of cardio or something. I don't know. That and lots of computer? Maybe go out for the second time in my life as well? So many choices!!

The kick at the YMCA on Friday was pretty good. I had a few solid runs, but for the most part I was going for links drills and more links. Good result :)

- Mobius > Gyro Osis x 2
- Mobius > Rev. Swirl bs
- Torque > Gyro Osis bsos
- Pdx Torque > Stepping ss Mirage bsos
- Blurry Torque > Blur bs
- Atomic Torque > Blur bs
- Atomic Torque bsos
- Mobius > Gyro Dragonfly Kick > ss Torque unsealed
- Mobius > Void bs
- Pigbeater bsos
- Bedwetter > Dimwalk x 2 > run (Eggbeaters are still hard for me though!)
- Bedwetter > Atom Smasher > Legbeater bs
- Spinning Blender > Spinning Blender again

Rory Windsored me and hit Assassin > Alpine PLO x 2, while Kevin was doing awesome with club juggling too. It was a pretty good evening :).

I couldn't resist checking up on modified. It's been, like, over a week since I did and I figured my blog was in dire need of updatin'...

Hmm. Footbag. I've been trying to keep up a new regime that's been helping my knees recuperate (kick on day one, rest on day two, kick on day three, so on and so fort) and that's been going alright. I've also been going to the gym and making myself look sexy too. BUT, at the moment I've been struck with a cold and haven't been doing any of those things (I did have a bit of a kick on Sunday though...). Instead, my time after work has been 90% dedicated to reading a book I'm borrowing from a friend. I'm a third of the way through in the 3 days that I got it, and hopefully I will finish reading it by the middle of next week.

That said, not too much else has been happening over in the Regamey / Wylie shred-house. Umm, we might need a roomy for the middle of June. Any footbaggers moving to Edmonton *hint hint*?? Other than that... we had some delicious apple pie here the other day and I took a shower last night...

On to the footbag highlights:

- weakside Stepping ss Eggbeater
- Ducking Pdx Torque bs (pretty sure I hit it on bs before)
- Rev. Swirl x 14 on the "weaker" side (so 13 on my left side, 14 on the right)
- Blender > Pdx Blender x 2
- Torque > Mobius x 2
- Drifter x 3 > Pdx Drifter x 3 and then multiply that drill by 2
- Toe Torque > Gyro Mirage x 2
- Pdx Torque > Marius bs
- Marius > Pdx Torque bs
- Pdx Torque x 4
- Bedwetter > Dimwalk x 2 > run with Rubberman and Blurry Whirl bs
- Barfly > Scorpion's Tail x 2, sealed to a run with Pdx Whirl > Spinning Whirl x 2
- Pdx Torque > Sidewalk > Pdx Torque > Sidewalk > Torque > Ripwalk > Torque > Ripwalk
- Stepping Whirl > Gyro Refraction > Pdx Torque > run
- Plasticman > Rubberman > Whirl War 1 > drop third contact of BAP drill
- almost had Bladerunner > Bladerunner

That's all I can come up with. Torques have been going well for me, so hurrah! I think I may try my luck at going to the gym with a friend this evening, and maybe see if I can endure a footbag session tomorrow afternoon before work.

Thanks Kamil :).

I'm just over at my parent's house for what seems to be our weekly reunion. The smell of food cooking is mouth-watering, since my diet these days have been consisting mainly of bananas, apples, carrots, sandwhiches and cereal. Eating healthy, but it's the same old things. Good thing I picked up some celery and cheese whiz this morning, that will be a welcome snack in the evening hours :P.

My cold is getting better. A bit congested still, but I'm back into going to the gym and footbag has started up too. I have 100 pages of my book left to read (out of 970ish, it's a beast) which I will get out of the way tonight and probably tomorrow morning (I HIGHLY suggest checking it out, if you are a reader - "The Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follett). I had a sesh yesterday afternoon for not even 2 hours, and felt solid through-out despite my lack of kicking. The only thing that really suffered was my endurance, but that is understandable. I mean, I still have my cold so I'm sure that didn't help out either but it will go away and my endurance will bounce back up as soon as my regular sessions start happening again.

But yes, the session. Things felt solid aside from my string length so I just did most of my old drills (with a few new ones). If I posted them it would be of no interest to anybody, and the new ones I'm keeping secret as they may be spoilers. The one thing that I will mention was that I felt like I ripped my oblique doing a Pdx Torque. It hurt so bad, but I walked it off then it Pdx Torque > Pdx Torque bs without too much trouble.

So yeah. I'm just posting to let all you know what's going on over on my end. I'm keeping alive and am getting back into the good. Hopefully I can lay a post or two a week, but I kind of like not being on the computer as much as I used to be...

Cheers.

Man, it feels like I'm a stranger on modified now. Even my own blog doesn't feel like my own blog. How much of a bummer is that?

Things have been good, bad and so so. Been trying to keep the footbag and weight lifting schedule going with success. The weather has been horrible these past two weeks, which has been starting to affect my mood and motivation to kick a bit.

Umm, yeah. I drank way too much vodka last night, and now my insides hurt from all the power-puking and bathroom sleeping. I bought a sixth of Lime Vodka that came from Finland (it's called Finlandia, Fusion Lime) and I immediately thought about Anssi and wanted to devote the bottle to the good of footbag. I was only able to drink a bit over half of the bottle to the Finnish players. Sorry guys, I'm not hardcore enough :(.

Anyways, so footbag. Highlights that I can remember...

- Genesis
- Revstein
- Toe Fog
- Rev. Swirl x 18 on my left side
- Pdx Whirl x 23
- Gyro Clipper x 50
- Barfly x 7
- Fog, Bedwetter and Blurry Drifter bsos
- Bedwetter twice on each side in one string (did that with Fogs too)
- Pigbeater > Pixie ss Eggbeater > Pigbeater > Pixie ss Eggbeater off the foot
- Haze > Butterfly > Fog > Butterfly x 2
- Darkwalk > Blur > Phoenix > Blizzard x 2
- Torque > Gyro Rev. Swirl x 2
- Pdx Eggbeater > Eggbeater > ss Eggbeater > ss Butterfly x 2
- Janiwalker bsos
- Big Apple > Symp Torque bs
- Paradon > Barrage > Double Switch x 2
- Drifter > Vortex > Pdx Drifter > Drifter > Vortex > Pdx Drifter > Drifter > Pdx Drifter > Vortex > Drifter > Pdx Drifter > Vortex
- Pdx Whirl > Rev. Swirl > Pdx Whirl > Rev. Swirl > Drifter > Rev. Swirl > Drifter > Rev. Swirl midstring
- Dyno > Rev. Swirl x 2 lots (I like that drill)

I've been working on my furious sets these days, and it's been paying off well. I found a new technique that has been working out, I just need time and more practice since it's still inconsistant (bsos'ing Jani is a bitch still). I've also been doing alot more Eggbeaters - mainly Pdx and Blurry - and just last session I worked more on quantum sets by hitting Blubberman, like, 4 times or something. Diving stuff is getting better too - I've been doing those a lot more in my warm up.

So that's that. See you in a week.
