ummm the human eye cannot see a black hole. i believe it was steven hawking that believes we could see a black hole with microwaves or somthing similar to that
and back to the first post with your idea on death would pretty much mean we were all in our own seperate universe but each universe has the same base because we do have burials so you would only continue living in your own universe while others would still have experienced you dead. At least thats my thought

PLEASE tell me you knew this before posting that light does not have mass... Not that I disagree... But simply because light having gravity is more known than it not having mass...

Light does not have gravity. It can be affected by gravity. And yes, a lot of people know that. I would suggest you read a physics book though before you try to present your cutting-edge theories on the matter.
I have read plenty of physics books. I'm just no aware of how badly I word my sentences.
However it's been almost a year since I read a physics book... Maybe I'm just forgetting alot of shit and filling in empty spaces with my thoughts.. .Eh w/e.

Of course you can't see a black hole. Light can't escape from it. There is NOTHING that can make it so you can "see" a black hole. However you can detect it's presence and position by watching how it effects the light of stars that it passes in front of.
The idea is one and the same. And yes... that would suck complete ass.

Actually, you can detect black holes based on gamma ray emissions. What happens is that, near the horizon of the black hole, two virtual particles will on occasion be produced: one inside the horizon and the other outside. One will get sucked into the black hole and the other will shoot out such that we can see it.
Good call Peter, I want to laugh too when I die. After that there's nothing, which is impossible to comprehend, because human mind knows only excistance.
