Vegan chicks

Post by Guest_2 »

Anyone have any good date ideas for a vegan chick?

I don't know what we should go do?!

She's very social justice active-hence the veganism

You tight folks have any good ideas?

Jesse stop internet hating on people and show up to sessions! We had a bunch of dudes today and I finally hit butterfly.

Anyway, um yeah so Austin has lots of places that are vegetarian and vegan friendly which is nice. But I'm guessing you don't have that in Minnesota so...

Cook together. You can go shopping for the ingredients together and then go home and make it. It's actually pretty fun, make like Szechuan tofu with brocolli or somethin', that's always good.

Otherwise you know for activities and shit, vegans can do everything everyone else can, just can't eat animal products. Go ride bikes, go see a movie, go hiking, go canoeing on one of you 10K lakes. I'm sure you can think of something. Do that in the afternoon and then go shopping for the food, bring it home and cook together.

Jesse-that just wasn't very funny

Dan-innapropriate and not even close to humorous. It's hardly a date-let alone a serious relationship. That was a pretty useless comment and I'm kind of disapointed you couldn't filter the stupidity out of a response.

Good idea Ben-I'll take her canoeing at Calhoun Lake.

There's also a vegan pizza restaurant nearby [It's all in Uptown, Minneapolis's only trendy patch of land] and a curry restaurant with vegan curry [not that curry's good for a romantic adventure ;-)]

It's always hard to think of a good, unique date. I'm thinking vegan pizza + canoeing's the way to go ;-)

Actually, I was a vegitarian for about a year or so. Really, I think it'd be boring dating a vegan because you'd have to come on here and ask for fucking ideas on what do to w/ a girl.

Maybe you two should go suck each other off-because you're both the dickheads of the boards lately. Do you seriously have such low self esteem that you have to try and belittle people over the internet to make yourselves feel better?

You're both pathetic.

I posted it here but it's a tight community with quite a few vegans that might have some good ideas. However, it's jerks like you kids making the boards unwelcome for people.

You two kiddies can enjoy your negative little flamefest, I've got plans tonight with a cute girl.

edit: Vegetarian-nice spelling

And I know what to do when I'm with a girl , if you [and probably Petey too] need a diagram-let me know and I'll draw you one

And Petey, if you had enough brain power to process what you read-you'd realize it's just one date. No one's in a position to 'dump' anyone. But that's alright, I know reading's hard for you so I won't rag on you too much for it.

Wa wa wa. You remind me of the kid who gets made fun of in school and instead of dealing with the problem like a man goes and tells the principle. I'm glad you're going out with a girl you like tonight, I really am. I'm just trying to bust peoples balls here dude. Give me a break.

Dan:

(a) Never to be taken seriously, even if he thinks he has a point.

(b) I heard he once went to prison and found Jesus and decided to stop being an ass...

(c) ...except no, see point (a).

(d) Plays footbag? We've been over this though. Loneliness is tough to deal with.

If you need to have this discussion publicly, please start a new thread about it or bring up an old one. I'm sure there are enough threads dedicated to Dan already.

if the weather is nice, get some people together and play ultimate frisbee, then go out for a nice, vegan-friendly desert product, like Tofutti!

I think we should permanently put kevin's breakdown in feary's sig, in bold.

Nice suggestion Matt. I can honestly say that nothing kicks more ass than running around and eating dessert afterwards. It's like...like....almost dying almost....in the best way possible. Hahaha. Yeah.

lol - reacting to Dan in a serious way is always funnier than what he actually says.

Anyway I think a good idea would be taking her to an art gallery - you don't need to eat - you'll look sophisticated and you'll have stuff to talk about so things won't be awkward.
