The Toby bag would have taken even longer to get here.
I'm still gonna get one as a back-up though - so I don't have to go through this again.

i am using a toby bag at the moment, my owheel bag should arrive in the next couple of days. :D

Had a 2hr 15 min session before.

My flip drifter is now solid

My drifter from toe set both sides are solid.

I am now working on my stepping set.

Best run was 15 contacts guiltless

Butter>alt butter>osis> pdx mirage>pixie ss mirage>pixie ss mirage>butter>alt butter>osis> pdx mirage>pixie ss mirage>pixie ss mirage>butter>alt butter>ducking butter>hand catch.

positives
My drifter look so so sexy. Infact i am very happy with my style. I also tried to think after every drop what i could do better which helped alot.

Negatives.
It will take me along time to have stepping solid i think.

peace

Footbag is so abstract for me at the moment... the thought of going out and hitting something I woulden't previously be able to hit just isn't there, it doesn't even seem possible to get better at footbag.
I had a session the other day with Toby, between assignments and Katie I had under an hour to play. I didn't have time to warm up and I was playing way below my level, I got so angry.

I hate university.

LOL.
I found University was the best thing for my footbag.

Of course, footbag was the worst thing for my University, but... oh well.

Well despite the depressing post I made last night, I went and shreded for 2 and a half hours at like 2am... not a good idea at all for my uni work, but at least i've proven myself wrong about everything I said last night.

Solo Session 19: 2.5 hours (Total since 24/01/06: 44.5 hours)
Drilled: Everything (except eggbeaters damn it!)
Notes: I recorded everything I could remember on my pda last night right after I kicked so I can just copy n paste that now, how flippin handy is that?
My origional intention was to shred guiltless and try get good strings, my first string was 18 contacts and I think it was the only string I did that night
I ended up (as usual) coming up with all kinds of drills I could do to work on things, I focused a lot of flipclipper (using flip whirl and flip diving clipper to improve it):
32 consec flip clippers (meh crap)
19 contacts osis>infinity>duck clip
Whirl > dive clip rptx 2 (both sides, took ages on flip)
gyro clip > spin clip rpt (good for gyros)
Butterfly > blurry legover > fairy butter (stepping out of butterfly)
Dive clip > dive osis (used to work flip dives)
Osis > infinity > ducking butterfly rpt
Spinning osis > infinity > ducking clip rpt
Diving osis > infinity > ducking clip rpt
>>>>>>>Note to self: do bod dril with ripwalk instead of infinity...
Pdx Whirl > infinity > infinity > pdx whirl from both sides
Mini rubberman (legbeater>ripwalk>blur rpt) bs - first try on good side (didn't know how easy this drill is 8O)
Butterfly > gyro mirage > dlo rpt (working gyro out of butterfly, flip dlo)
Flog bs (was trying to hit it bsos, my flogs have degraded :()
Pdx Drifter > duck clip rpt (setting stright out of pdx drifter, missed the last duck many times)
Toque and blender bsos (maintenance)
I am very happy with these things because it means I have improved the 3 things that I need most: gyro, osis and stepping from butterfly.
New Moves: Just when I thought my game had gone down the tube and I would never hit a new move....
Flip vortex - Finally! Woohoo! Gyro is improving on flip :D
I also hit good side vortex a few times, felt pretty good.
Vertigo - for the 2nd time ever! It was such a fluke last time, this time I was footing it all over the place.
...
and then...
...
Flipside vertigo 8O 8O 8O and it felt as easy as good side, this is possibly the hardest move I have hit on my flip. Damn the felt good. (also my first new 5add in aaaaaaaaagggggggeeeeesssssss.)

Jamieson... I gotta ask... have you hit flip vertigo? :)

Still no O'wheel bag.
I had to patch my second one (the last one I had) with bandaids, so that I had at least one to play with tonight.

The session lasted for about an hour tonight. I had some okish moments... nothing super amazing or worth writing about. My right hip is a little sore, though. I'm not sure if it's due to my schooling atomics, or something else.
Everything's pretty sloppy at the moment, except for my clippers - which I'm really comfortable with right now. I did school ducking clip>ss clip>repeat, and diving clip>ss clip>ducking clip>ss clip>repeat, but didn't have much luck with the last one.
I used the breakdancers as a kind of circle at one point. I'd shred, then when I dropped, I'd stop and watch whoever was breaking then, when they stopped, I'd start up again. That was kinda fun. I think some of them picked up on what I was doing, but didn't seem to mind. It's not like a challange or anything.

Anyway, that's all for now.

50 pages of BCS thats cool.

I was sick today, so I stayed home. I played footbag on and off for a bit. It was hard with asthma. I hit barfly>osis>infin>infin>ripwalk>barfly>osis which is bsos barfly...inside delay>ssbuttefly swirl BS. and had ripwalk swirl off my heel.

i hit far motion one side 2nd attempt! and had phoenix>farmotion off the foot and blurry motion off the foot.

i also hit sunilwalker again

that is all

Played round for 15 mins or so before bed the other night.

Hit whirl wars from both sides for first time.
Hit pdx whirl > pdx whirl from both sides.

Flip pdx whirls are easier than flip whirls... :?

Props on blurry osis > ripwalk rpt jesse, I should give that one a go :)

Like I promised I hit pdx whirl > spinning clip rpt, from both sides.
I also hit 3x pdx whirl and pdx whirl > ducking butterfly > ducking butterfly > pdx whirl

I want to catch up to toby in whirls, he can hit atleast 5 alternating pdx whirls and several repetitions of whirl wars.

props boys.

Best run

butter>alt butter>ducking butter>ducking butter>alt butter>ducking butter>ducking butter>pdx mirage>smear>drifter>drop on osis.

worked on stepping getting better.

I am guiltless now. being guiltess is cool. As long as i keep playing and don't quit like i always do i will keep improving at different concepts.

Gym really helps footbag.

So highlights of the session were

ducking butter>ducking butter bsos

smear>drifter bsos.

my new owheel footbag.

bsos combos i am hoping to hit tonight.

dimwalk>drifter bsos

drifter (toe)>drifter bsos

drifter>drifter bsos

Pixie ss mirage>drifter bsos

drifter>diving butter bsos.

get strong side ripwalk sorted.

life is awesome at the moment.

Playing good squash
keepin really fit
saving lots of money.
Coaching going excellent
and still playin footag.

peace.

No, it's not a guilt trip. I figured it was either down to Australia post, or some theiving mothafarker who wants a pro footbag.

I just want a new footbag! That's all.
