Beggars off interstate exits, etc.

Look at the next homeless person you see. How many employees would employ that person? No doubt he smells, has not showered or washed himself in weeks, has dirty clothes that haven't been washed in weeks etc. If he has no money - how can he fix that - how can he wash himself, get new clean clothes, shave and get a hair cut, print out a resume and get a job? Not to mention the fact that having to rely on people's genoristy to live is bound to make somebody depressed - his self confidence is probably very low. Genuine depression makes it hard to get out of bed - let alone doing anything else.

I think it is incredibly easier to tell somebody in that situation to get a job than for them to actually get one.

i think beggars can do what ever the hell they want. your never going to get rid of beggars unless if you get rid of the givers. i find it funny that people find beggars and homeless people scary. maby its because they have the possibility of pulling out a gun and mugging you. but seriously how many news articles have you heard of that happening really you guys should be more worried about actually muggers/theifs not the beggers theyre harmless and if theyre not then there muggers lol

i appreciate the ones that do SOMETHING for it. there is a guy downtown that goes around telling jokes (so there is this husband and wife who have been married for a really long time, and they are starting to get bored with sex, so the husband says: 'maybe we should try something different to add some spark to our sex life' and the wife goes: 'that sounds like a good idea; what type of things did you have in mind?' to which the husband replies: 'well, dont think im weird or anything, but i have always wanted to cum in your ear.' the wife, replies indignantly: 'im not going to let you cum in my ear...it will make me go deaf!' and the husband replies: 'why would cumming in your ear make you go deaf? i have been cumming in your mouth for years and you still havent shut the fuck up'). it takes a small amount of effort from him, and im getting something in return. i gave him a couple bucks. even this crazy old guy dances around for money, which i appreciate a lot more than just sitting there shaking a cup, or using guilt methods to try to make me give them money, and becoming angry when i dont.

Yes they are people, and if they are down on their luck and they need food to live, sure i'll give them half a sandwich, but in LA, down by santa monica, the beggars arent buying food. And you can tell by the empty vodka bottles lying around them. I have no patience for that kind of beggar.

Okay, I don't fit the capitalistic work scheme either. You think I like working 40+ hours a week? And like, to a higher social class, I probably look just like that bum. So where's the honor in that? Should I just give up and srounge for change from hard-working people? No, because they don't owe me anything.

Also, most of these human beings that you're defending are perfectly able to fit into the system, they're just lazy. I definitely wouldn't have the same jokes for someone who was actually crippled, and I would probably lend a hand if I had it. And most of the time they're spare changing for drugs, not food. You know how I know this? Because there's TONS of free food where I live. They serve a hot awesome breakfast for free, in MANY locations, 7 days a week!

Nah man, I'm not the ignorant asshole. THAT guy is. Cuz he tried to ruin my day by insulting me when I didn't have change to give him. So screw him, and screw YOU for trying to judge ME.

Should you give up and become a beggar? Hell, I don't care, if you want to. People don't give bums change because they think they're indebted to them, they give it to them either because they genuinely embrace charity, or because they want to make themselves feel better by doing a good deed.

That's what I felt like posting. But, I'll make an intelligent statement. I'm done posting. I find many beggars to be rude and offensive. Why don't they ever hit up rich people that can actually afford to give away money? Oh yeah, because those people are rich is because they don't give away money. Anyway, I see like 10 bums a day at the very least, and like I said most of them are offensive. I get tired of they're comments, so I came up with my own. It's nothing to do with your pristine logic, 'overwhelming me', it's your ceaselessness. No matter what I say, you'll come back with some Dan Feary special to keep me going. Because you like to argue. That's cool man, I don't knock you for it. I was just making a point about how I think bums suck, and I like to match them jib for jab ya know?

One reason why is there was this one bum. Well, he'd like start walkin with ya down the street. Then he'd say hey I got a joke for ya: Why does the Liberty Bell have a crack in it? You know what, I suck at remembering jokes, but it was actually a good punchline. So, that was his schtick. People would be like 'Haha that's great, thanks man." and give him a buck or two. Well, I even find that sort of intrusive. It's like WOW, you told a joke! Here, here's your reward. Anyway, moving on...

Well, one night my friend comes to this bar where we go and he was like bleeding, and busted up. I'm like 'Wtf happened?' "It was the joke guy. Man, he got me good." See, the joke guy to whom my friend had given money to plenty of times, decided to catch him after a bartending shift one night. Him and his buddy hit him over the head with something, beat the shit out of him and took his night's earnings. My friend had been nice to this guy EVERY time.

He was a bum. He told 2 jokes, I don't remember the punchline because all I remember was seeing my friend's face bleeding and driving him to he hospital.
