Team Canada
So I have been thinking alot about the fact that there is no national representation of footbag in Canada.
I have decided to change that.
I want to form Team Canada Footbag.
I want this to be as professional as any other national team with sponsors and jerseys and everything.
I want to have team jerseys made for worlds this year, why shouldn't we look as unified and professional as the others that have uniforms?
As far as the jerseys go it would really be easiest to keep the number of them made down to just those going to Worlds, however I am sure that the whole 'team' could get jerseys too.
So, Canada, what do you think?
Who wants to enthusiastically support this exciting venture?

There are a lot and I mean a lot of people who would want to be part of this mosher. I think this is a great idea it would be really cool to see Canada have a team jersey. It will be a big success, like who doesnt want a team Canada jersey? I really like this idea and even though I'm not going to the worlds jerseys are a great idea for peoplel who are going.
EDIT: My idea of team Canada jersey...(maybe throw a leaf on there and a flag or something.

Explanation for this Canadian's lack of enthusian:
a) I'm not very nationalistic at all. I don't care too much what country I'm from and therefore wouldn't want to represent any one country in competition. That leads me to my next point;
b) I've gone to ONE competition and it doesn't look like more are on the horizon and time soon. Finally,
c) I'm not good enough to represent.
That said, I don't think this is a bad idea at all!! It'd be cool for the Canadian players going to World's to be unified and identifiable. It could make a statement about our scene.
Keep up the good work Tom!
PS This post really was just to tell you why I'm not jumping up and down.

I think your first action should be to set up a national association of some description - some kind of official governing body for footbag in canada. There may even be such a body. I don't really understand how you could have any legitmacy without some kind of governing organisation first. From there you also need to get most/all of the top Canadian players and organisers on board - so that you have some authority.

I want a jersey though. That would stop people from asking "Are you on a team or something?"

There's so many good players to represent Canada and the US! Awesome idea Mosher! I highly support this!
