ducking pdx drifter first try
almost diving drifter, diving whirl, blurry whirl
p torque
pixie illusion, one pretty good run with whirl bsos and some other stuff,

the cleanest nuclear set ever... Mike Hansen said the first one looked like i had been doing it for years.. then I failed to hit another clean set haha.. I want to get good at that and should start practicing it both sides i think.

p whirl>p whirl again

Thanks mathieu, I gave pdx blender about 10 tries the other day, i footed it once.

So, this entry is probably the first one that's not footbag related...I swore to myself when I made this thing it wouldn't become an outlet for emotional crap and drama and all that fairy bullshit.... buuut...hell i figure someone will have advice? i don't know.

The situation: Been dating this girl on and off for 4 years, mostly off... but we just got physically serious in the past 6 months..? around winter break i guess. Last night she found out that I had slept with my ex girlfriend after we had hooked up. She loves me but now thinks that i'm a liar. I'm not in love with her, but I like her and I like hooking up with her....So i don't want things to end...

I don't feel bad about hooking up with another chick, we weren't dating. But, she's a girl and I know girls have uh.... a general lack of logic. So at this point i'm going to have to fake an apology to get back with her, which is fine.

I've got 3 options it looks like, all of which have some flaw.
A.) Date her and be completely honest - dont hook up with other chicks. Flaw: Can't hook up with other chicks.

B.) Date her and hook up with other chicks. Flaw: I might feel like a scumbag, she might find out and hate me (this wouldn't be as bad as my conscience.)

C.) say fuck it. Flaw: I get no play from her.

Part of me says : "Hey, you're fucking 19 years old. You're not going to marry this girl, have fun and don't worry about the consequences."

and part of me says : "Don't be a scumbag."

Angel on my right shoulder Devil on my left

I'm leaning towards the  so far.

Advice? anyone?

*edit* important sidenote: the ex girlfriend i hooked up with, im actually in love with... but she goes to school in boston and i wont be able to see her at all next year.. and she's got a boyfriend.. i may end up basically dating her all summer just to get crushed at the end anyways...haha.. ugh hate my life. (actually, i love my life, but this situation sucks balls.)

listen, the fact at hand is your a horny boy. if you cant stay commited to a girl who wants you to be commited, dont be with her. girls dont look at situations like this like us guys do. sex tends to have a different meaning in there eyes. dont be a heartbreaker. dont be a little man whore ither. but you are right about being young an you have every right too go out an have fun but dont have a girl friend if thats the road you want to take.

just my advice

thanks for the opinion zack.
As far as that's concerned... still not sure what I'm going to do....

played footbag today, probably a mistake. My back feels like shit. It's really depressing.. I'm going to have to take a good amount of time off and that really bothers me.

today i was trying to take it easy while shredding but i shouldn't have played at all.

hit plo>plo (first time hitting it pixie SET)
atomsmasher>atomic illusion
blender both sides
that's pretty much it.. was going for 50 tiltless for a little while, came close to diving drifter.

i feel like my tiltless game is so much smoother than it used to be but i still drop on silly shit. and I'm feeling really bummed out about having to take time off because of my back. The worst part is I don't even know what i did to it in the first place. :x

Bah. I'm a cripple 2 weeks before our event.

Wow massive props on the ducking paradox drifter, thats a sick move. A bunch of those links are awesome too like paradox drifter > paradox torque. crazy stuff. You should definitely take a couple days off though especially with the competition coming up.

Not too worried about the chick situation for some reason... :D

Played 2 square with emily and a new freestyler in the area, E.J.
He hit mirage pixie legover and atw for the first time with us I think, bought a new sand bag from Emily, and seems hooked. New recruit! :D

Uhhh so .. i couldn't help myself, i did a few things like clipper>inside no plant rpt and far legovers, atw... I'm starting to ice my back.. I told my mom about it and she said "Ice and heat! Ice and heat!" So.. yeah, trying to pay attention to my weak ass back for now. I can only dream of freestyle. Last night I was thinking about hitting ducking pdx drifter>matador>ps whirl. I have faith that I will be able to his this in the next few years sometime. :D

That's all folks.

I think the last session I had and playing 2-square was a mistake. my back doesn't seem to be getting any better and I'm starting to get depressed and worried that it might not heal in time for the event. :(

I want to go see a chiropractor but I don't have money for it.. so ice and tiger balm will hopefully do the trick.

*edit* did a little bit of research and found this,

"Call your family doctor if:

* Pain goes down your leg below your knee.
* Your leg, foot, groin or rectal area feels numb.
* You have fever, nausea or vomiting, stomachache, weakness or sweating.
* You lose control over going to the bathroom.
* Your pain was caused by an injury.
* Your pain is so intense you can't move around.
* Your pain doesn't seem to be getting better after 2 to 3 weeks. "

I don't have any of that, thank god... if my rectal area was numb I'd be pretty worried. It's been less than a week since I stopped playing footbag and started icing my back, so maybe my worries are a little premature. Still, sucks that I won't be able to practice before the event. As of right now it's 50/50 that I'm going to compete.

A long time ago my back was giving me pain. Rest up for the most part. I wouldn't kick until a coulple days before the event. Massage?

I'm not going to kick at all until it stops hurting. If I feel good the day of the event I'll probably compete for fun. I spent $50 on tiger balm, aspirin, and a heat pad... those bastards jack you pretty hard at long's drug store, lemme tell you.

so, i better get better, or i'm going to stomp some clerk-ass.

Emily is actually about to rub me down as I'm typing this. Thanks for the concern :D

I read and catch up on this blog and I think to myself, "Man, it sure is nice to see a new player play and actually improve significantly, for once." Then I read that you're injured.

Make sure and stretch. Icing and heat are great, but stretching is equally vital.

Reading the first few entries on this page made me smile.

My back is getting better. I am going to plan on playing a little bit of footbag on wednesday if it continues to feel better so that i can get an idea whether i'll be able to shred at the event or not. Either way it's gonna be a blast but.. i might cry if i can't kick haha.

...a..ha...

Soon as I'm better I want to try and hit spinning pdx mirage bsos. I was looking at my challenges and thought that it sounded fun.
