printing logos on bags

i want to put a logo on my bags a "b4" thats the name of my bags

i thought of doing a paint stencil

Perhaps invest in a customized rubber stamp with a permanent ink pad?

The Rubber stamp shouldn't cost much. $15 is the maximum I think.

I might be able to find something suitable. Will edit if I find it.

I think that's the only choice you have. Last time I looked, I don't remember there being any relatively cheap(<$1K) printers being able to print on cloth...

If you used ink from a stamp on a bag wouldn't that come off even if its permanent? Could work though...

You might also try screen printing with photo emulsion. You can get everything you need at an art store for not too much. It wouldn't be hard to make a small screen for something like that, and you could get a small squeegee to go with it by going to a screen printing supply house and buying their squeegee scraps.

it may fade over time, but it wouldn't run. alot of stitchers put em on their bags. like FFs

Paul Mestas of Revolution footbags put our logo on his bags. I asked him how he did it and he said it was a trade secret and I left it at that.

the easiest cheapest way to do this would be to get an ART GUM eraser, draw ur design on it, and cut out the negative areas - print away w/ an inkpad

i use a black fabric marker. it works if you're a good artist

sharpie is also the closest thing to a permanent ink you can buy i think... unless there is a fabric marker that lasts longer...

both will come out after even the briefest break in... but they both last long enough to sell and look pretty~!

theyre are better inks than that found in a sharpie. if your really wanting to hand draw your logos, check into calligraphy ink. pretty cheap, isntgonna bleed super bad (when done corectly), and from what ive got on myclothes before, it dosent come out easily...

ask keirpca (sp)

from footfighter.. he might tell you how they get their logos (obviously hand drawn) on their bags.

They make oil-based paint markers in very thin tips.
