That is overkill, but it is almost pretty in the sheer complexity of it.

O.......................................m.............................................g........................................................................so my panels

Your next task: Go to the bathroom.
Wash your face.
Put your shoulders hunched upwards.
Look really, really slowly upwards towards the mirror like in the movies
And slap yourself in the face.
With your game face on.
And go shred with jim.
It'll work, trust me.

I thought about making a high-pannel bag, just to say I've done it... maybe that's why they do it? It's not a really cool story to tell, but I guess it is an accomplishment. I think I'd preffer:
"So there I was... stranded in the middle of Vietnam! I had nothing but a loin cloth made from banana leaves and a footbag. I was surrounded by canibals!" ...and so on and so forth. THAT would be a fun story to tell. Unlike "So there I was... in an armchair for weeks and weeks. I stitched a bag with over 300 pannels!!"
There's gotta be a better reason for making one of these then for the story...

I think its awesome. I think the act itself is what makes it awesome and not the outcome. Its about more then footbag itself, its art.

i think its like a mini soccer ball with poly pellets in it .. its 10 cm wide .... the one who did the 3 bags i saw is probably 90 years old now and he started to do them at the age of 20. 40 hours/week all life long haha, i agree its a waste of time but the cool things about it is the patern and the patience to do it. ill stick with 32 tho hahaNathan wrote:I sorta feel like making one now.. even if i can't stall it, it'd still be fun.
