I had to take the vid down, due to the guy with gas-mask-Bong thing...

This jam was piles and piles of fun. I didn't have time to get very much footage cuz I was shredding literaly the entire time. "Work with what you've got" though, right? Hopefuly everyone will enjoy it just the same.

Oh man! I wanted to go so bad! I'll probably be at the festival in July(or was it June). Anyways im downloading it right now, I bet it was awsome.

EDIT: Good footage, I caught a glimpse of familiar people. Looked like wicked fun, hope I can make it next year.

HAHAHAHAAHA oh you guys. First off, pretty cool vid, even if you're not into the whole smoking bit. Your filming and editing looks like it's getting a lot better. That guy at the beginning with the mask on was creeepy! And then at that one point you had like 50 hippies standing around watching the circle shred. Too bad they were too lazy to join in!! Liked the music selection.

man.. that was the craziest thing. It was a gas mask with a bong for a mouth piece... you could see through his little eye-piece goggle things and it was ALL smoke in his face. He was definately breathing nothing but pot.

Alot of the hippies did join in at some point or another. I though Mike did a really good job of making them feel comfortable in the circle and helping them understand what it was that we were doing. That was a super fun event with countless - ...interesting... people to meet.

Anyway, thanks Ben! The vid was sweet, but you forgot to mention that you WON the paradon battle! I plan on trying again soon when my legs aren't sore from work, heh.

To others who watch the vid, Ben is right; this is only the tip of the iceberg! The shred was hard, fast, and sweet all around! Nice cross section of play!

I feel pretty dumb, having put that part of the guy with the Bong-mask in now. I was just reading about vids being taken down because of drug use too! Sorry guys... I've got alot of h/w over the next couple of nights but I might be able to put the vid back up with that scene omitted soon.

Thats FOOLISH censorship. The gas mask bong does not directly show drug use and it realistically it could have been any type of smoke coming out of the device. You showed no definitive pictures of drugs. This forum censorship is going too far.

come ON jon. You want to talk foolish? how about saying that the guy wearing the gas mask bong walking around at the marijuana pride march is smoking something besides marijuana out of the big pot tube helmet. It absolutely shows drug use. Even though it's conceivable that he could be smoking dried horse shit out of that thing, contextually, it's reefer, and there's nothing to suggest otherwise.

We're just trying to maintain some consistency regarding the portrayal of drug use. The video can definitely go back up after that one little incidental non-footbag-related snippet is removed, and if anyone wants to see it as it was, Ben's offering it.

Also, Ben, my friend, you offering it by email isn't a matter of my permission. That was a resolution to the situation that you suggested, and I think it was a good one, so, props to you for the easy fix.

I PMed you the vid, but your post does sound very ignorant to me. Ovbiously saying a little joke (not that I, personally, would joke about humping an antelope as your example suggests) is going to be less of a big deal then promoting drugs. I don't think this vid is that bad and I don't think that any kids are going to be like "Hey! Smoking pot... now there's a good idea!"; but this is what i thought was lame:

there are obvious reasons that this plant is different from other plants. I'm pretty neutral on the whole legalizing campaign, but you simply CAN'T ignore or pretend to be indifferent of the dangers of this particular plant. Be aware of them and act responbily and I respect it. Acting like smoking weed is no more significant then drinking a bottle of water seems irresponbile. It is significant.
