random question of the day:

does a 180 mirage have a special name or is it just that?

How are you setting it and how are you catching it? This could be spinning mirage, it could be miraging xbd rake, it could be torque. Please describe further.

what the HELL are you talking about? i have no idea how you could draw the latter two conclusions from that question.

Ben (the first one): It depends on which leg you are dexing with. if you set, spin, dex with the setting leg, and catch on the opposite foot, you are describing a gyro mirage (gyro implying the half spin, or "180" that i think you're referring to).
if you set, spin, dex opposite the leg you set with, and catch with the same foot you set with, you are describing spinning paradox mirage.
figure out which one describes your sitch and there you have it.

ok here it is.

toe stall with right, mirage with the left leg, catch it with a toe stall on the same foot but you just spin 180 degress while your left leg is going over the bag. not too hard if you can mirage easily.

For a spinning mirage (gyro or pdx), you spin *before* you dex/mirage.
I honestly have no clue what you're talking about. Sounds like a miraging gyro toe stall to me.

I think I remember seeing on flipsider that a 180 degree toe stall had a name. I tried finding it but couldn't. Maybe I'm thinking something else.

I decided to do a 180 spin while miraging out of a clipper stall and it's pretty cool. Kinda reminds me of the beginning of a torque like spin. Although i've never hit a torque.

Idk, moves with unusual spins like these could be considered styley by some. If I'm imagining the move right.

I came up with a weird move where it was butterfly set from toe, but then half-way through the dex you kinda did a backspin 180 to face the other direction and toe stall. You could hit other stuff from it too. I guess it was kinda gyro-y, but for some reason the half butterfly dex made it unique.

Never really got into it, because I was trying to stay focused on more important moves, but it seemed like it could be a neat concept.

Lol yeah Wauxpin was unique... for about 5 mins till someone named it and everyone started doing it :p.
