Yup Dan, that was the plan. Depending on what time Sam finishes work, I guess. After you work at the very least.

Mike, how about Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m? We can't do the night session on Wednesday cuz we'll be in Mississauga. I DO want to have a night session downtown sometime soon though. I guess it will have to happen next week for me.

So, this week's looking like:

Tuesday- Downtown- Outside the MedSci Building (for shade)- 10:00 a.m.

Wednesday- Mississauga- Dan picks the spot (hopefully somewhere well lit at night)- Afternoon sometime- we'll meet at a Go Station, probably Union, and take the train there together?

Friday- Downtown Outside the MedSci Building- 10:00 a.m.

Sound good to everyone? I'm almost thinking of also having a session on Thursday... It'll probably just be me on my street though, I don't wanna mission downtown or somewhere crazy all the time... Though I wouldn't mind going to the beach on Thursday if anyone is down with that...

And the MedSci Building- for those who didn't join Sam, Mike, Owen and I at our after-session session- is marked "MS" on the map:

It's the last building on King's College Road, which is off of College, west of University, before St. George St. The address is actually 1 King's College Circle- the front of the building is on King's College Circle. The spot is just up the front stairs, to the left of the front doors. It's a sweet shaded/sheltered spot.

So if you guys have any issues with this stuff please post them or call me: 416-602-1985... and let me know if any of you are interested in a session Thursday afternoon at the beach.

I can definitely make the tuesday and friday morning sessions. Would love to go 'sauga and the beach as well but work will not allow. I'm also into playing up by your place Camille, but it doesn't work for me durning the week.

Wow, Camille, you weren't joking at the march, it looks like 3 or more weekly sessions are happening! So sweet everyone, I love it!

On the other hand, it's frustrating as well to some degree. My work starts early and goes late, and often keeps me out of city overnight. I would LOVE to make it out to all these sessions, but I simply can't, til maybe Saturday.

Keep it up, and I'll see you all as soon as possible. I can't wait!

Aw, that sucks Josh.

We will probably have a weekly session on Sundays at the beach. It's the best vibe ever. So you could probably make it to that, right? And bring your adorable girlfriend & puppy! There are lots of dogs, and there is the water to cool off... and food & washrooms and shade... it's the best.

Once I get a job I will have to change my shred schedule... And we have to limit the amount of sessions downtown and spread them out all over the city. Is there a place to play in your building, Josh? Or near by? Cuz since you and Billy are both there, I (and others) would love to come and play around there once in a while too. Plus, Andrew lives around your area, so I'm there all the time. Let me know if and when that's possible.

It would be nice to have some sessions in Scarborough, but I'm the only one here, so I don't really want to make you guys come this far. Maybe once in a while would be cool, but I only have outdoor places to play at so it's always weather permitting. The Beach isn't too far for me, so that's always good too.

So, we need to spread sessions out over the following places:

-Downtown- Mike & Vida (And sorta Greenwood when he comes home)
-North York- Josh & Billy (And Paul once he heals, and hopefully Andrew & Elliot eventually)
-The Beaches- Sam & Taishi
-Scarborough- Me, Myself, and I

-Mississauga- Dan & his newbie posse & Stefan
-Etobicoke- Owen

Is that it? Who am I missing? Any other ideas?

Maybe we could have at least one downtown session once every week and then divide up the other sessions to some of the other places one week and the other places the next? And just switch it up that way?Something like that, I don't know. I'm just trying to be fair to everyone.

Let me know what you all think. Mike, I'm sorry you can't make it to the other sessions. But 2 out of 3 or 4 ain't bad! Next week I'll come downtown to shred at night too, and hopefully we have those Sunday beach sessions.

I like how organized this is all getting. Thank god for this blog!

because I have to take a job interview in American Apparel at 13:45.So,I have to prepare for the job interview.Because my english is poor

It's sweet indeed.

Wicked session Mike! It was hot & humid, but it felt damn good.

And afterwards Vida and I went to the park and chilled on a bench for a couple hours.

I think the sprinkler there is gonna save us this summer.

Where are we gonna play tomorrow Dan? Can you get us from the train station? I haven't spoken to Sam about it yet but I'll call him tomorrow and figure it out. It might be just me coming.

Taishi, do you want to come to Mississauga (a city west of Toronto) with me to play footbag with Dan and Stefan on Wednesday? I can meet you at Union Station and we can take the train there together. It's about $12 to travel there and back on the train. I can go in the afternoon, and I will be there until about 10 or 11 p.m. (22:00 or 23:00).

If not, can you come to the beach to play with me on Thursday afternoon? It is not too far from your home.

For the early afternoon, finding a decent outdoor spot will be no problem. The evening shred we can take to a community center if it gets too dark/too cold. The day shred we can either have at the school near my house, or something like that. There's a pretty dece amount of open paved spots in my area.

EDIT: So call my cell phone when you plan on coming out. I'm gonna be doing some cleaning in the morning, but I've left things otherwise open!

So Session at the Beach on Thursday!

I have plans for the evening, so I'd like to play around 12 if that's ok. I have to leave at 4. We can meet at 12 on the bus platform at Woodbine Station and take the bus together. It's the "Woodbine South" bus.

So who wants to come to Scarborough on Sunday?!

There is a big community bbq (free food!) in the park across the street from my house! There will be performances, skateboarding, and all sorts of fun stuff! I think this is an excellent opportunity to show footbag to the people (and especially the CHILDREN) in Scarborough! I have found a few hackers once in a while, but none of them were serious about it. I think it would be great to get a good group of us to shred here!

If there are skaters, I'm sure they'll find footbag interesting, too.

So who's in?

I love this area for shred spots man, even the back alley by my apt is good for secret solo sessions

" note... I hurt my left gluteus medius while playing footbag with Mike on Tuesday.

I did it while skooling flip whirls, but it wasn't that bad, so I played through it. Then today (Wed) while playing with Sam & Dan, it started to hurt so bad that I had to stop playing.

Even just standing hurt... Good session today though, eh guys?! It was hot, but fun, and the rain made everything better... too bad I became a fuckin gimp.

So I'm gonna have to take a break from shred, for at least tomorrow.

I'll play a very little bit at home and see how it feels. Right now the right side is hurting too!

I'm pretty sure it's an actual injury on my left (cuz I felt the moment it pulled or something, it was a burst of pain), but the right side pain is probably just from working it too much. We'll see tomorrow.

So Taishi, I'm sorry, but I am going to have to cancel our plans to play. Go to the beach and play with your friend, if you can! It's fun! But I cannot come. So sorry.

I hope that my fabulous FAT ass feels better soon, cuz I had planned on playing so much this week! I am eager to shred. But rest is the best thing until I know more.

Wicked session. I'm not sure if I hit anything new...it was so sticky out I was mainly focusing on sweating.

I had a pretty silly scare too. I was going for a string with a bunch of symposium stuff and totally landed with my foot sideways against the ground. I dunno quite how I did it, but it happened, and it hurt like a bastard. It doesn't seem to be hurting this morning which is good but it's a little stiff...

Anyway, it just goes to show that my shoes are ready to be retired. My lavers, once so tight that I felt like I was almost pouring my feet into them, now have broken in and torn into being about a size too big. Fortunately the climas are soon to be on their way, and I won't have to worry about rolling my ankles in crappy loose shoes.
