thanks boys.

I did 120 court sprints in 6 minutes last night, if fuckin hurt.

Eg 1 court sprint is 1 length of the court=10m i think

THe hardest part about this is you run 10 stop and go back, it kills the muscles around the knee, but i showed myself i am pretty fuckin fit which is cool.

Managed to play a bit of footbag last night, even though my legs were burning.

dimwalk>drifter bsos

Worked on stepping, sometimes it is really solid, and other time i try and do everthing to quickly. I think it would help if my clippers were better but i am trying to make them better.

hoping to have a tip top session today.

peace

1.2KM in 6 mins changing direction every 10 meters? WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU HAGESY! Geez you need to take up smoking or something, you are waaaaaaaaaay to fit.

I kicked with Toby today for about 2 hours. Filmed for the video i'm editing of us this coming holidays.
Hit lots of sweet stuff, so did Toby, he had some crazy strings!

I can only tell you one decent thing I hit today, because it won't be making it into the video:
About 20 contact string starting with spinning whirl with atom b2b midstring and I think ducking butterfly b2b? Toby started filming too late and missed the spinning whirl :x, which makes the string not video worthy. *sigh*

Bad session tonight. :(

I just didn't feel motivated to play, and I had a bit of a weird feeling in my left calf, from the onset.

During the session I couldn't focus... I wasn't hitting much/anything, and just couldn't get into any sort of rythem.
So, I chucked a tantrum and booted my Ooooold o'wheel bag off into the chairs in the piazza. I sat down, and had a drink before trying to find the bag.
I couldn't.
So I got my newer bag out (also with holes in it) and played with that for a while.
Then I tore/sprained/strained(I don't know what) my left calf. It was right in the spot that I was feeling that weird feeling earlier. It's basicly the muscle in the back that you use when you spring off your toe.

Bad night.

I looked twice, but couldn't find it.

It was my old green and yellow one. It was huge because it was that used and old.

Well, my calf isn't too bad today. I was limping heeps to begin with, but by the end of the day I was able to walk somewhat normally.
I figure no strenious activity for a week or so and I'll be right. The fact that I only play footbag once a week will help that (I don't know weather to cry or laugh!)

When you have no time to do anything but assignments or study then you haven't got much else to post. I know the feeling, although I just choose not to post ;).

I am almost finished the horrendous amount of work I have been doing, soon my 8 hours a day in the computer lab will be over and I can kick again daily!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Played today for like 2.5 hours! I spent most of the time working on my game so i'll call it a solo session even though Toby and Axle were there:

Solo Session 20: 2.5 hours (Total since 24/01/06: 47 hours)
Drilled: Ducking, infinity, pdx whirl, guiltless, whirls, blenders, ripwalks.
Notes: Interesting session, started out just stringing and playing guiltless run length with Toby. The longest he got to was like 8 contacts and I hit 26 guiltless which included most of my concepts so I was happy with that.
Me and Toby ended up competing the rest of the day actually lol. Because of it I hit:
26 ducking clippers (new record by 1 :()
26 infinities (haven't done these in ages)
13 osis (ow :(, he hit 19)
4 pdx whirls (hahaha equaled Toby's record!)
5 flipside whirls lol
10 or so good side whirls (they are worse :()
3x ducking osis on good side, footed 3 on flipside
ducking osis > ducking butterfly rpt
I also hit blender bsos, pdx whirl > blur on both sides, blurry whirl > blur on good side, fairy ducking butterfly > blurry whirl 2nd try, way easier now.
I hit some good shuffle strings with atomic and stepping more than usual today and my fairys were feeling much tighter :)
New Moves: None that I can remember :(

I had a big, long dream last night, where I was moving a road train up from SA. This was after a murder or something simliar (very Blue Healers) to begin with.
We had decided to move the road train up via an actual train (having to go through a normal train station to buy tickets - man that was easy to organise), and then started moving north.
I arrived in a city and walked/drove around town untill I got to a shop that my Dad owned. It had hanging pot-plants out the front of it - lots of flowers.
Then someone told me that I was in Sydney! That was awesome, I thought. There's actually a footbag scene in Sydney! A footbag scene! I can play footbag with others.

Alas, it was a dream and I'm still faced with the stark reality of today. No footbag scene in Brisbane. Jesse and Hagesy too far away to count, Caroline too busy, and... well that's it.
I wish I had someone nearby who was reason to play more than just the one day a week. I used to feed off Foxy's love of the game and would do the same from me.
The... I don't know. He's no longer interested. I accept that, but I'm still disappointed.

Nice bag Gareth. 8)

I kicked last night, worst shred ever.

Solo Session 21: 1 hours (Total since 24/01/06: 48 hours)
Drilled: BOPs, touched on everything else.
Notes: I hit pdx blender bs within a few attempts, that was the only thing worth mentioning about last night.
Felt tight chested the whole hour, maybe because it was so cold and I was pretty tired.
For the first time ever I actually coulden't make myself try harder. I just coulden't be bothered hitting the combos and when I did try I just got really exhausted.
Anyway... over 10 infinities, osis, ducking clip. About 30 contacts butterfly > pdx mirage. bs blender, torque, eggbeater, about 14 contacts of butterfly > blur, atomsmasher b2b, pdx whirl b2b, double legover > drifter bsos.

I've had 2 shreds since last post:

Solo Session 22: 1 hour (Total since 24/01/06: 49 hours)
Drilled: Spins and ducks, fudge, toe whirl
Notes: All I can remember:
34 contacts of ducking clip > spinning clip - that felt good especially in my limited space.
fairy legover > fairy illusion rpt
fairy illusion > atomsmasher rpt
6 contacts of toe whirl > blur rpt

Solo Session 23: 2.5 hours (Total since 24/01/06: 51.5 hours)
Drilled: BOPs, touched on everything else.
Notes: Had a filming session so I won't spill too much of the beans, but things that the camera missed:
Fairy ducking osis > blur one side and fairy ducking osis > blurry legover the other side.
Hmm, i've forgotten everything else.

I've been feeling really crap at footbag, just haven't had the same ambition as I used to, but i'm getting it back slowly! As I think more about the feeling of hitting awesome combos and after watching Vasek's symp whirr 8O.
I guess the transition to guiltless has ment that I can't do long easy strings anymore with big moves in them because I don't want to play tiltless so I have to live with shorter strings and easier moves untill I get my bails and bops up to standard. I'm working on it though :).

I made tortillas tonight, it's the motherload, I estimate I cooked about 25-30 meals worth of filling :D.
Ingrediance:
2.2KG of mince
12 diced potatoes
3 diced onions
5 cans of chopped tomatoes
4 cans of chillie beans
750grams peanuts
100 grams crushed garlic
20 grams cummin
7 grams mixed herbs
7 grams oregano

Took me 3 hours to make in total :D Now to freeze the leftovers and I won't be hungry again for weeks!

Solo Session 24: 1 hour (Total since 24/01/06: 52.5 hours)
Drilled: Pdx whirl, bops, blender, pdx blender.
Notes: Started out playing in the kitchen n I was pretty stiff so warmed up with some BOP combos, trying to make sure I can hit everything out of everything really easily. Anyway, I hit:
blender > pdx illusion bsos (or was it bs?)
Pdx whirl > diving clip rpt
Blurry whirl > blizzard > fairy... toe (damn) on good side
Lots of blurry whirls on flip... (I just thought of a sweet sick3!)
Pdx blender on flipside like 4 times in a row 8O (not consecutively), I just looked at the form on my good side and tried to copy it and it worked!

I worked on mainly big moves and hard combos tonight, I really need to go for consecutives and get my consistancy up! I need to force myself to do consec osis/butterfly/drifter/ripwalk/ducking clip/spinning clip/atomsmashers EVERY NIGHT!

EDIT: Btw, Toby hit his first 5>5 link the other day! Phoenix > pdx torque :D go Toby!

Solo Session 25: 1.5 hour (Total since 24/01/06: 54 hours)
Drilled: Osis, osis, osis and more osis. Ducking clips, infinities.
Notes: It was jolly cold tonight, I could tell because I finsihed the shred and was able to put a tshirt on imediately without soaking it in the process :?.
Osis is the most frustrating move in footbag.
I started out with a warmup combo which I eventually hit:
Spinning osis > ducking clip > ducking clip > spinning osis > ducking clip > ducking clip > spinning clip > ducking clip > spinning clip > ducking clip > diving clip > ducking clip > diving drop... (meh close enough).
12 dexless, equal my record
Moved on to trying to hit a lot of bops:
10 infinities > 10 ducking clips > dropped on 9th osis... :x I hate osis.
I just worked osis > osis for a while.
Then I did osis > far osis and got 10 contacts? Average, was really gunning for 12.
Then I tried osis > osis again and hit 18, which is the most i've hit for a while.
Spent the last 5 mins on infinity and ducking clip:
24 infinities I think, haven't done consec in ages (note to self: do infinities every night!)
31 ducking clips, new record, they felt really easy which was nice because they have been a real struggle lately, I must remember to school these everynight too.
I wanted to try some big combos but it was too cold to get warm enough + I was exhausted from little sleep + I am still recovering from the runs earlier today :?.
