Im looking to buy a new car in the 18-22,000 dollar range. Ive been focusing on the Scion Tc and the Hyundai Tiburon GT Limited (or SE) but I can't quite make up my mind between the two. Is there anyone with experience with either of these two cars who could help to guide my decision making?
The factors that are important to me are the following:
Price (edge to TC)
Looks (edge to Tiburon)
Raw Power (Torque and HP) (edge to Tiburon)
Fuel Economy (edge to TC)
Passenger Space (edge to TC)
Cargo Space (edge to TC)
Warranty (edge to Tiburon)
Durability (edge to TC)
Cool Options (edge to TC)
If Tc is leading 6 to 3, then why is my decision not made up yet?

I say screw all that and get the new Saturn sports car, the Sky. Two seat, rear wheel drive goodness....
Or the ion redline.... 200 HP supercharged 4-banger...
Of those two, I'd say take them for a good test drive. I know the Scion's more customizeable. Hell, that's what Scion's about. However, I like the Tiburon's styling more... That was the first real car I lusted after. Probably wouldn't be too bad to get all the options you want on it in the GT version. plus a 170 horse V-6 is pretty nice too...
My vote goes towards the Tiburon. But check out some other companies too, if you have the time.
