hey is microsuede good for 32 panels or just good in any way? heres a link that i want to buy it from.

ps. how big is a swatch?

micro suede will not do for a good, playable 32. doesnt microsuede have a fabric backing... like its... woven.. or something?

but you gotta get ultra suede if you want to start doing 32s. crushed panne will work for 4s, but not 32s.

check ultrasuede.com and ask for free swatches. youhave to make up a company name, and make yourself sound legit. it sorta is starting a business, as one day, you might get good enough to sell your pfootbags.

a few of us (i guess only the people who started stitcing around the same time as me...) have gotten swatches, and they come as 6x6ish sheets. enough to make a bag or two tho.

Microsuede is too thin to make a proper 32 paneled bag. Stick with facile, aka ultrasuede light.

I haven't received my swatches at all. I might as well buy my stuff at field's.

I've been using Microsuede for 4, and 8 panel sandbags, and it works great! Ive never had a problem with durability. Infact, I still have several Microsuede bags that are 10+ months old, with no holes, or broken stitches! The White SandBag in this picture is about 10 months old and ohhhhh soooo supple! I sewed it with button thread, using the backstitching technique....

The 32's Ive made with Microsuede didnt break in very well....

There's another stitcher I know who uses Microsuede for 8 panel bags, and they are sweeeeeeeet. So sweet, that they are the preferred bags at our shred sessions (even though we have Abshires, Carol bags, and a mulitude of other high-quality bags).

In conclusion, Microsuede is Great(!!) for low-panel sandbags, and not-so-great for higher-panelled bags.

Teddy Monhollon sandbags are made from Microsuede, and they feel really dope.

Super super super stallable too. However, I think they make your playing style really lazy, especially when you're concentrating on setting the bag. A great hacking/4-square bag, though.

Yes, Teddy's Bags are the bags I was referring to. Hands-down the best 8 panel bags I've ever played with. Amazing stitch consistency and they're sooooooooooo soft *drool
