Finished the latest video. I'll post the first low-res render here and then once I get both low-and high, I'll post it in the video thread. But for the lucky dial-upper, here is a dogeatdogworldsmall.wmv. That is as footbag related as this post is going to get. Other than that it's about the ssdd. I'm gonna watch a movie by myself now, wish I had someone special to watch it with  ooooh well.

Edit : Here is a link to the thread:: - L i n k

Critiques and comments are always welcome, enjoy !!

Had a couple jager bombs, sake bombs, / beers, and gonna take a walk through parkersburg to think about things as they are. I'm sober enough to type full sentences for the most part. It's 1 AM and I can't wait to finish up 8 AM - 5 PM of tomorrow so I can footbag. I just hope tonight will clear some things up in my head...but I already know what I'm going to think... as what I think now. I've started something...I feel inside, I've got to finish and follow through. No matter what.

Just got back...and I feel that I've got to go farther. I'm going to take a ride on my bike and think things through farther... Before I run out again, I'll have myself another drink of Miller... Hopefully I'll be back within an hour, if not...who knows :?:

Edit :: Road throughout Parkersburg...quite fun. I haven't resolved anything mentally, but I know my legs feel it now. Working out and lifting through the day, and biking my ass off through the night will give me a good night's sleep,... as long as I don't have any more of these horrid dreams of ... I'll explain it after tonight...

Well, well, well. I woke up 2 hours late at 9:45 am when I was supposed to be at work at 8 AM. Lesson learned, drinking on a weekday has consequences, and I fucked up bad. I had too much to drink way too late. I managed to ride my bike all around without getting killed though, so that is a +. My boss asked me if I was drinking last night, and I didn't lie, i said yes I was. He told me later that one of the patients smelled something, and that he too could smell booze on my breath. For that morning, I wasn't allowed to really work 1 on 1 with patients. I got a pretty good lecture, but I would like to think we're pretty close so he understood me and I understood him. Reliability is one of my main virtues, and I messed up when he needed me. So I understand that trust is now an issue and I'm going to have to be 101 % on top of things to show him that I am a professional.

Anyways, I didn't really resolve anything last night decision wise what to do. Mainly, to hold on or let go. Most everyone tells me the same thing, it's not meant to be, let go. I agree for the most part, but what if it's just that something could be solved or patched if I did hold on and worked things whatever the problem is out, who knows ? *shrug* I'm tired of thinking all the time like this, shit reminds me of highschool drama, f that. Guess I'll just throw some of my final agression out through exercise and footbag. I'm just really glad the sun has been out cause if it weren't, I'd prolly be laying around being depressed.

Talking about depressing, I was so bored 2 nights ago that I was watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles by myself eating popcorn, and fell asleep midway through at 10 PM with all my work clothes still on...I'm so pathetic it's hilarious

Great weekend !!!
After work Friday I took off to see my x-puppy Buddy Alpha Blizzard. He looked like he grew a bit and was fun as ever. Bit me a lot, but he didn't get away with it ! a stern No. Of course I had to say that like 30 times or so. Other than that it was a great way to start the weekend.

Saturday was the usual 9-1 at work, studied a bit outside of regular job duties. I've got so much reading & studying to do it's ludicrous, but doable. I've got about 1 month and 1 week left till the big test day, yowzzah. Later a couple of my friends and I took off to Charleston to celebrate one of my friend's girlfriend's B-day. We went to the hugest flea market ever, except it was just closing >___<. The best part was seeing this one section dedicated to the southern culture, ya know, rednecks, confederate flags, yattah yattah, and then next to all those Confederate flags was a rainbow colored flag for gay pride, hilarious. I wonder if they knew what it stood for.

We later went to a dog track / casino which was bizzarly huge ~! I was suprised how popular gambling was. I succesfully lost 7 $ in 2 minutes through slot machines, I would have much wrather played X-men at the arcades for 1 hour, but oh well. After that we took off to the mall. I looked at some place that was selling beds and pillows. Their pillows ranged from 80$ - 150$. If you think about it, you sleep every night for 5 - 8 hours so you might as well have a nice comfy pillow. And you have to think I'm poor so I didn't get one  . After that we took off to Chuck E Cheese, then Laser tag, and theeeen Go Kart racing. All I gotta say was I was born to race  I had sooo much fun I coulda just stayed there all night and blown my 200$ on the tracks. I shoulda kept track of how many people I passed on my first go at it, I lapped everyone except for one person, close ~! I convinced everyone to race one more time later and I just messed around for the most part. I was in race mode and I guess the people that were working there were yelling at me to stop being so aggresive, but I didn't hear anything at all. I didn't really mean to , but I wrecked everyone except for one person  I really wish Cap'n Crocks was still around

Sunday night, I convinced myself to go back to work to exercise and footbag. I got a really good workout, but I wanted to footbag so bad so I gave it a go. I was pretty shaky at first, but it all evened out later. I worked a ton on my spinning. I think that is one of the only concepts I get really happy about if I hit a couple spinning concepts in one string. It's one of those things where you are shredding by yourself and when you drop you scream in whisper mode "yesssssssss" and hold your hand in a clenched position for a bit. Today is such a beautiful day that I think I'm going to go to the park or somewhere nice and play. I didn't play too hard last night so my legs are still pretty fresh. I think the highlight of last night was clipper x 3, flip clipper x2, spinning butterfly bs, and a spinning osis drop all in one string. That sounds like something I should have learned like 3-4 years ago, but spinning is easily my weakest point.

Well Chrissy, I'll definitely come by sometime this summer if that is alright. We can make it a day thing or whatever you want. I'm pretty sure Brad and Bob will be in also. I'd love to meet you and your baby, fit him some G-units at the mall or something

Anyways, I did shred tonight, pretty damned hard. I went to the B-ball courts and there was about 40 people or so playing. It was funny watching everyone doing there thing as they belonged in a certain place or click. All the ballers had 'their' style, their baggy clothing, a certain lifestyle they all shared. It's always nice seein black people come together, you may think, wtf John, you're wierd. Well being that I'm stuck in a 99% white town, it's sweet seein about 30% of the ballers bein black, a lil diversity. Oh yeah, then there was me  . Warmed up in my regular shorts and then stripped down to get down to the nitty gritty. I always wonder what is going on in their minds, but that always goes away after the music starts and my feet start moving. I played for over an hour and almost outlasted the ballers cause nightfall came around. Too many shadows and not enough energy on my part, had to save a little for the bikeride home. I'd say one highlight was probably a nice long string with ducking legovers bs, ducking pdx mirage bs, pdx dlo bs, and some other ducking and filler moves. Nothing big, but fun !

I came back home to find a suprise, 2 pigs on my street, I mean popo's, I mean cops. I have no idea what they were doin on 'MY' deadend, but I saw them off the street in the wooded area with flashlights. No idea what was going on, but I made sure they didn't use my driveway when they backed up with my intimidating glare, hahaa. If you know me, I'm very not intimidating. Anyways, I think it's time to shower up, do some laundry, and play some good ole Half-life mods.

Sounds like a plan. :) There's a cool park I discovered in Huntington that we could maybe meet up at, and my mom would watch/ walk Kayleigh while we play.

EDIT: There's also a little park up my street...it doesn't really matter to me.

I have successfully fulfilled my dreams. Before I entered the holy reception domain, I drank as much Long Island mix as I could. I went to Ohio Valley University (Christian school which prohibits alcohol on their property) and I spiked their drink at a wedding reception. I somehow smoothly took the apple juice and took it outside, drank it down in a sec and then took my flask full of tequilla, and filled the cup up. I then went back to the big punch bowl that was similar to a fountain recycling it's own fluids and went in for seconds. I had one empty cup and one cup full of tequilla, went in with both as I poured one cup in and filled the other up and then combined cups together for the perfect transfer. I then later beatboxed on the PA system as my friend got down to Young M.C. Tonight may not have had a lick of footbag history to it, but damn it, it had some epic shit in it. Hopefully tomorrow will be a nice day so I can play outside, word.

Well well well, guess who I got to play with on Sunday. None other than professional freestyle footbag player...... Braaaaad Neeeelson !~ hahaha. Anyways, it was one of the funnest sessions I've had for a while. We drove over to City Park and played in the basketball court for about an hour. I think it was so fun because I haven't played with anyone for a long while, and I'm just not used to that. It was so nice seeing someone else hit combos, made everything a lot more interesting. Not sure how much he'll play through the summer, but I plan on playing regularly with exercise also. I'd like to think I'm preparing somewhat for SCSO. I showed brad my new spinning ! What a fun concept, but so hard ! My flipside is definitely weak, I always feel as if I spin and throw myself off balance. I managed to hit spinning ducking clipper, it was so fun. 2 of my favorite concepts in one move !!

I also have been working on SCSO and learned Adobe Illustrator just for that purpose. I made a logo which I think rules ass and I'll throw it below. I'll see if I can make it a link to the website, actually wait...I'll just put a link to te website.

Well, it's mother's day and I woke up at 6:15am on a Sunday. I always work 6 days a week and Sunday is my one day to sleep in, but I actually had the will power to wake up early. Drove over to my Mom's house and made her French Toast with farm fresh eggs, buttermilk bread, bananas, and peach orchard drink, yum !

I was planning on shredding today, but it would be wise on my part not to. Yesterday I was helping a friend at his house and inbetween fixing his lawnmower, we messed around and played some soccer. I pulled this sweet move by kickin the ball inbetween his legs and left him stupified and jetted around him. Too bad that he came from behind and kicked my right foot as I was running. I didn't roll it, but it was more stuck in one place as momentum wanted to push forward. It's not too bad, I figured today wouldn't be bad, but it is a bit sore. It wasn't the usual inversion sprain, it was more a rotation sprain. Guess I'll have to stay off of footbag for a week to be safe. I should prolly apply the things I preach  . Time to mow the lawn and see how well my ankle holds up.

Played today for the first time since my small ankle incident...and... it felt great. Ankle is about 92%, almost an A ~! For the first 30 minutes or so I practiced only spinning. All I can say is it's so fun when I hit them on my good side, and so aggravating when I completely go off track on my bad side. I never really had a good or bad side, they used to be equally horrible. I can now spin on one side pretty decent for a change of pace. My bad side is now a reminder of how bad my other side used to be. Hopefully within a couple months to a year I'll have that side too. I'm in no hurry cause it's taken me about 5 years to learn to spin decently.

I was also in the chatroom for a bit and got a request from Wasabi for Atom Smasher>Leg beater>Mobius>Phoenix>DDD .. Needless to say, it's impossible. So I then tried PLO > DLO > AtomSmasher > Atomic Osis. I footed it both sides, but was a bit out of control by the end of the combo. I forgot that Atomic sets are pretty hard out of DLO, so that is something to work on. Grifters were also requested, I forgot all about that move ! Last time I tried them and hit them was on my Birthday at the New Years Jam in Chicago...*reminisces of good times* I only hit it one side, but footed grifter and pdx grifter on both sides numerous times. I figured out the motions and what was wrong when I wasn't hitting them. So with that said, it's just going to take a good bit of practice since that motion is so much different than most other moves.

I was at work today and decided to request work off for Steel City Shred Off (SCSO) and was reading about the East Coast event. It's gonna be Peter Irish's last routine !!! Also it'll be his 20th continuous year of competing so hopefully he goes out with a bang. So now I've requested off the 10 and the 24 of June. 2 East Coast events, should be fun !!! I'm hopin to get to the East Coasts event and hype up SCSO. Anyways, time to get my salty ass outta here and get home.

Played some roller hockey on Friday and still sore today. I haven't played for years and of course I decide to play the one night right before Relay for Life  . I played for about 1.5 hours pretty hard and then went straight to City Park to walk for 2 hours for Cancer Awareness. Hip flexors and adductors are pretty sore, but it was such a nice day I tried playin a bit out on my street. I watched a couple vids on my computer and then some of Sick 03 to get myself in 'the mood'. I played real easy with tiltless and guiltless. Practiced some spins more and easy stuff both sides. I figured out one of my big problems with spinning on my flip. It's my weak support leg and I'm not really hopping enough with it. I concentrated on that a bit more and had a couple good sets, hopefully they'll come together soon enough.

I'm still anxiously awaiting my time off request so I can make my plans to go to East Coasts. It's been too long since a footbag event...New Years Jam ??? June is gonna be a great month. Well, it has the potential to be, if I pass the test. If I don't , things are going to suck badly. If I pass, that means no stress on me, more money, more time, more footbag, etc. etc. With the test being this important to me, I'm suprised with my shitty studying habits, or there lack of. I guess since I've already passed these classes and such, it is just uberly boring to study whole books and not know what to really concentrate on. Oh well

Uhmm tip of the day : Know your limits. Push too hard and too fast, you'll back track. Don't push hard enough or long enough, you'll never know what you could have become.

Played some footbag yesterday after work. Hellah fun solo session at City Park. For the first time, I spun in public :P . I was confident enough to play around with my spinning in strings, yay. I outlasted almost every baller there, except 2. 2 jailbait girls approached me while playing, my first visitors. They asked how old I was, and I asked them, they said they were both 18, but I'm pretty sure they were like 15-16. They asked me what I was doing, if I was dancing. So I told them I was pretty much dancing, but with a footbag. They couldn't see the footbag from a distance since it was getting dark, so basically I looked like some crazy guy doin a crazy dance all by myself. She asked me to demonstrate, I busted a fat 15+ string.

Later that night, I drank way to heavy. 1 part skyy vodka, 2 parts sparx drink, 4 parts Peach Orchard Punch. That stuff tore me to shreds, I chugged everything I made because I didn't want to be up late drinking. I don't remember a lot of that night, but I was talking to a friend...well, here.

[21:55] abumbuddy: you and ty kept trying to fight this guy, and it took me like 15 minutes to get you guys to forget it, lol
[21:55] abumbuddy: then you passed out in someone's yard and i carried your ass all the fucking way up your road and into your house
[21:56] HoodlulVl: I tried fighting someone ????
[21:56] abumbuddy: yeah
[21:56] HoodlulVl: HA
[21:56] HoodlulVl: HAHAHAHAHAHA
[21:56] HoodlulVl: what !?
[21:56] HoodlulVl: would he have kicked my ass ?
[21:56] HoodlulVl: how did that happen , do tell.
[21:57] abumbuddy: i'm not sure, i only saw him from a distance, but maybe because you were drunk, lol
[21:57] abumbuddy: okay, it was like this:
[21:58] HoodlulVl: if he would kicked my ass, i bearily woulda felt it, sooo drunk
[21:58] abumbuddy: i called ty's cell like 18 times because you guys were gone for 45 minutes or longer, and finally i decided to go look for you guys, but i had cale come with me. we finally saw you and ty hitting each other in someone's yard at the end of your road.
[21:58] abumbuddy: a car went by and cale said, "that looks like something in gotham city"
[21:58] abumbuddy: and you starting yelling "fuck gotham city!"
[21:59] abumbuddy: over and over again, and you got in the way of this guy's car, and he got out and went over to you and starting saying, "get the fuck away from my car"
[21:59] abumbuddy: so i walked down there to meet you, and the guy got back in his car and drove to mcdonald's, which is why we ended up at don's, cause you were following him wanting to fight
[22:00] HoodlulVl: hahaha
[22:01] abumbuddy: then you passed out, i carried you to your house and put you on your couch, and you passed out from there
[22:02] abumbuddy: later on, cate and some other people carried you to your room, and that was the last i saw you
[22:02] HoodlulVl: I was wonderin how I got to bed
[22:02] abumbuddy: hahaha
[22:02] HoodlulVl: I pulled into work today, and as soon as I got there, i puked
[22:02] abumbuddy: HAHA
[22:02] abumbuddy: that's good
[22:02] HoodlulVl: I opened the door and puked, before I could even turn the car off
[22:02] abumbuddy: like, in the parking lot?
[22:02] HoodlulVl: yup
[22:03] HoodlulVl: Well, I parked in the road
[22:03] abumbuddy: lol, that's good shit right there
[22:03] HoodlulVl: it was fucked up
[22:03] abumbuddy: so you felt good all day today, huh?
[22:04] HoodlulVl: ugh
[22:04] HoodlulVl: I was drunk till about 2 pm
[22:04] HoodlulVl: make that 3

So yeah, with that said, I didn't play footbag today.

Next day I warmed up my legs with Hen with some Netbag. We sucked at first, but then we took on Matt and Kolo. They warmed us up pretty fast and I'd have to say that Hen and I made a MAD netbag team *highfive*. I'd even say we took'em. I later warmed up on some DDR pads cause they were right next to us. After a while I asked hen if he wanted to box. We were gonna go into the real boxing ring, but it looked like they were just sparring so we went next door to the inflattable boxing ring. SO MUCH FUN !!! We had gloves that were the size of large computer monitors and were pretty damned heavy. I knocked Hen around so much that after I minute of just pummeling him I took my gloves off and walked out the ring. As I was trying to get out, he started punchin me with my gear off and the guy running the thing yelled at him...pwnd. The best part to my memory was uppercutting him till his ass was in the air. He was then lookin at me helplessly, so I took complete advantage of him on the ground, and started layin both of my gloves into his face.

There is so much shred, I can't even remember where and when everything happened. I know I had sessions all day long in all sorts of places, with everyone, I know it's vague. I remember playin with the Wisconsin guys for a while near some sort of water fountain place inside. It was just us for like 30 minutes and no sign of anybody. And then we saw like 20 freestylers walking from the hotel towards us, LET THE SESSION BEGIN !! I remember hitting 2 new things that Jorden pushed me to do. Reverse swirling hopover. I also hit reverse swirling blender, thx jorden !

Greg Nelson came in with a stereo, so I had to follow him, we went to a carpeted area and had a pretty sweet session. Brian Parson, myself, Johnny Suderman, Greg Nelson...and someone else _____. My legs were pretty tired so I didn't play the greatest, but damn was it fun. Some funny ass young black girl completely broke up the circle vibe and started dancin to this one song, I forget what it was. It was so funny, she went off when Brian started singin to it, hahahaha... Shake shake shake it she did.

was just reading about NYJ again. Reliving the memories. That session with me, you, brian and zach at the fountains was great. Your lonn bag owns. Is it dead yet?

And the last paragraph, the circle with me, you, johnny, greg and brian. I was the someone else

Best circle ever

Well, the big test is coming up and I haven't studied enough. It's hard to stay focused studying something you've already just studied and passed, quite boring. Good news though is my professor gave me a 1 page study guide of the important things I should be going over, so that will save me hours over end of studying now that I know what to look at.

I just got done with a session and I haven't played for over a week or so. It's been like...weeks ? I thought i lost my G-units, but they were exactly where I left them 2 weeks ago, in the kitchen area at work. I left it at the table where everyone eats and nobody even moved them, haha. In short, I played horrible today !! I haven't been takin care of myself health wise, haven't been exercising for a bit, haven't been playing footbag, been eating unhealthy, and this test is bout stressin me out. Even though I didn't play well, it was good practice for East Coast, think I'm ready to get skooled by all the noobs

What a great day to be alive ~! Worked the usual 8-5, went to the hospital to visit Cooper (newborn), then watched my class pretty much graduating. They were doing a pinning ceremony typo deal where they all were nicely dressed up and had their family and friends there. They had a nice dvd slideshow presentation with pictures and such of the last 2 years of PTA school. It was well presented and made me pretty sad I couldn't be up there with them to represent something I loved and achieved. Guess all I can say to that is I'm counting down 364 days till I reach that point.

After that I was driving home gettin ready for shred cause the weather was gorgeous. I stopped by Brad's house to see if he wanted to play. I woke him up, but it was like 6:30 PM, haha. Somehow I convinced him to play at City Park with me. It went something like this... "Hey, sorry I woke you up, you wanna shred at City Park?" --- "... sure."

Brad played really well I though. I've come to really appreciate his shred and what he hits. It used to be that he'd hit all this crazy shit, but I was so used to it and didn't understand how hard it really was that I took it for granted. Now that I'm more of a high level player than before I can tell he was pretty top notch for his time. I hit 2 new moves, well kinda. I hit spinning whirl after a 10 contact or so string, smooth and controlled. I then worked on my ducking pdx torques. Hit it on one side, but didn't seel it, and the other felt just as good, but no love. Tomorrow I might try to hit my first 6 > 6 > 6 (6/6/06- # of the beast... ) I haven't hit a 6 > 6 yet, but when I hit my first 5 > 5 > 5, prior to that, I never hit one 5> 5  . Oh yeah, there were a bunch of jr.high / high school kids that were being pricks to us. Just the usual Parkersburg trash that hassles people about things they don't understand, I didn't mind too much until one came over and kicked my 32 about 32 feet away from where I was playing. If there is one thing to kick someone's ass over, it'd be that. Warning for those who play with me, do not do that with attitude and stick around, you are liable to get your ass kicked.

Tip for the Day : Take a moment to think about breathing during footbag. (I noticed I wasn't breathing much, prolly why I've never been capable of stringing long.)
