A can machine today gave me two cans of coke for the price of one. Even that isn't enough to override the shitness of my life right now :( at least I have footbag. shred tonight. edited today, really happy with the result.

edit: oh man, it WOULD be the first post on the page, wouldn't it

Hopefully. I was pretty happy when I got the free can but the sheen wore off fairly quickly :( The good thing is I went home and shredded and felt super :D my life still sucks but I can't be bothered caring.

6/6/6 oooooh!
Length:
2 hours 30 minutes (Total since 19/01/06: 88 hours 30 minutes)
Drilled: drifter - esp flip pdx drifter, clipper/butterfly, ducking, osis, illusion, whirl (a little), stepping, fairy.

Stepping: heaps better. Worked out I was setting it way too high on my flipside, hence the high difficulty factor, they're much better now and I'm relieved I finally figured out what was wrong :)

whirl: hate it. just friggen hate it. I really have to discipline to drill this because it feels like it should work but it doesn't and it's driving me crazy. Sigh. Must discipline!

Ducking was good, getting better.

Osis was good, got 38 pretty easy.

pdx Drifter coming along on flip but still needs a lot of work, the form is really off and I'm having trouble correcting it, which is stupid cause my strongside form is great I think but whatev...

clippers getting better. I don't know why I wasn't doing the walkover > raise and lower slowly drill before but I did it last night and I could see it helping instantly. My flip clippers will be shit hot soon just you wait and see. (i'm a n00b)

Got real close to double dyno a few times

tiltless was crap. got 30 something I think.

New favourite combo: drifter > pdx mirage > toe drifter > pdx illusion. got it bsos

worked on fairy, flipside is real natural considering I just started working on it, got a bunch of fairy moves bsos a number of times. can't wait till these are down.

got stepping whirl bsos a couple of times too.

last but not least, tombstone b2b

June 7th

30 minutes.

skooled whirls, saw improvement, shifted my body a bit which made it work better. skooled clippers, osis and stepping. and ducking.

edit:
30 minutes.

skooled pdx illusion and bubba heaps. skooled osis, tried for blurry drifter > drifter rpt but no luck. 49 tiltless, guiltless sucked. I don't think I'm ready for guiltlessness yet, my strings are now boring and short and tiring and that's no fun.

June 8th
Length:
2 hours (Total since 19/01/06: 91 hours 30 mins)
Drilled: clipper, butterfly, osis, pdx illusion, bubba, whirl (+ toe), drifter (+pdx), stepping, fairy, barrages.

Good sesh :D

blurry whirl > stepping whirl bs

drilled op clip > bubba > op clip > pdx illusion rpt. saw improvement :)

whirls getting better. my strongside clipper is my weak side whirl and it's really annoying, and my leg gets in the way of me seeing the bag so it's sorta blind and I can't figure out why :( vid cam time. toe whirls were much better.

stepping heaps better, drilled sidewalk > stepping ss clipper > ripwalk rpt. got a few rpts didn't count but it was a few.

New osis pb - 54. :x I think it only beat my last by 1, that just sucks. oh well. also osis > far osis rpt was much better, so happy with that.

drifters sort of sucked :?

started drilling barrages, just barrage > same clip rpt, got a couple of times through.

fairy looking good bs.

got drifter > osis > infinity > spinning butterfly > run bs a few times. for some reason my flipside was easier... ?

sidewalk > blur > legbeater > blizzard > tapdown. tonight... flipside? hopefully.

edit: oh yeah, fume bs :)

Muscles around the back of my ankle were really sore friday night. Played an easy half hour anyway which was a mistake... woke up saturday: paaaain. Was a bit worried but by sunday it was almost good again, so relieved there. Played last night another half hour just easy stuff. Got some good runs.

Flapper > rev swirl a few times :D

rev swirl bsos (first time flipside hehehe)

28 contacts osis > far osis rpt :D

some other stuff.

Ahh, finally played again. Had absolutely no motivation to start but I sucked it up and of course once I got going I couldn't stop :P

June 16th
Length:
2 hours (Total since 19/01/06: 94 hours)
Drilled: butterfly, pdx mirage, toe whirl, whirl, bubba, pdx illusion, osis, drifter.

Not as much drilling as usual, tried guiltless a lot but didn't get too far. Tiltless even worse :?

Only got 34 contacts of butterfly > pdx mirage rpt but I'm happy with that considering I didn't try for long and how long it's been since I skooled pdx mirage.

nothing amazing with the illusions and whirls but they're slowly getting better. for pdx illusion and bubba on flipside it's all about my clipper set and body shift, the dex is the easy part.... damn flipside clipper screws up everything :x

got motivated to beat Dan's 31 drifters but only got 20... oh well, that's still fairly respectable :P

Highlights:

osis - Got 58, which I think is equal to my last record. It didn't even bother me, I laughed haha. but I thought screw that, I can do better than that. 2 minutes later, 86 contacts. wtf?! Sweet! Also 32 contacts osis > far osis rpt :)

fume bsos

vortex bsos

gyro bubba and spinning pdx illusion. Both with my former flipside spinning.... I don't get it, my strong spinning has switched (although they both suck) that's just weird. except vortex is still my old strongside, everything else has switched. Footbag is weird.

I might make another vid today.

June 17th
Length:
1 hour 30 mins
Drilled: Butterfly, pdx mirage, osis, bubba, pdx illusion, DLO's.

kick@$$ session :D One of thoes sesh's where you wish life and your body didn't demand that you stop at some point. Oh well, I actually wasn't tired after this sesh and I'm definately playing again tonight :D

Mainly skooled BOP links.

Butterfly > Pdx Mirage rpt - 76 contacts..... what THEEEE? Doubled my last rec, so happy! :)

ss osis > Pdx Mirage rpt - 20 contacts. Really awkward link for flipside, but I fonud my groove which I'm happy about :) Really aiming to have osis down from everything and to everything.

Osis > Bubba rpt - 27 contacts. Easy drill but I made it harder because I'm a perfectionist when it comes to Illusions :P

Osis > ss Butterfly - 24 contacts. Not happy with this :? Expected more.

Also just some general guiltless and started drilling DLO's. Footed spinning pdx DLO a bazillion times ><

Hopefully back one day.

YEAH! That bummed me too. Watching it back I'm like whaaa? I dropped blur a gazillion times :? From watching the vid the mirage looks to casual, and I think that's why I'm dropping, not putting enough effort into it. I found the same in that ^^^ sesh with the butter > pdx mirage drill but I improved it a lot then :)

Only played for 20 minutes last night... parentals took up most of the time with 'discussion' about stuff, it's amazing how they can string a conversation out to take as long as freaking possible >< and then I wasn't totally on my game and wanted to watch boston legal... oh well.... I'll try to get some comp entries today (what a surprise, I left it to the last day again  )

woooo! sick 1 captured 8) And it only took me 5 minutes 8) Now what to do for sick 3? :? :(

edit: oh hot damn!! I just hit a new trick I've been trying for a while, on camera 8) now I don't know which to enter for the comp. hmm hmm. I'm not gonna bother with sick3 I just can't be bothered, bleh.

edit edit: OK I don't know why I was 'keeping it secret'

the first one was atomic vortex... remember 2 months ago, 1 whole hour of trying it over and over again to no avail? 5 minutes. hot damn that felt good. It's real clean too, except I catch it very forward on my foot.

the other new trick is double dyno :D sooo happy, felt awesome. I hit it twice, second time was cleaner but I had forgotten to set the camera recording... :/ damnit. Oh well. The first one the dexes were completely clean just the second was nicer, caught higher, more of an 'osis'.

June 22nd
Length:
1 hour 30 mins

Half hour warm up - BOP drills, osis links, tiltless.

Figured out why my tiltless sucks so much... I don't drill any tiltless tricks anymore... duh! So I drilled mirage > legover a bit. Must spend 15 minutes a sesh drilling tiltless otherwise it will drop and that just sucks :(

BOP drills went well. Didn't count anything, couldn't be bothered.
ss osis > pdx mirage rpt - went well, pretty happy.
osis > bubba rpt - went OK. Slowly improving.
osis > ss butterfly rpt - right on. How it should be. Glad that's up to speed.
osis > far osis rpt - went well too. Much more controlled than I've had before, didn't count but definately beat pb. real happy.
far osis > drifter rpt - hardest one... bit of improvement though.

drilled illusions. clipper > bubba > clipper > pdx illusion rpt
strongside sucked major for some reason, eventually began to find my groove but wasn't totally satisfied.

whirls SUCK I am SO SICK of them. Friggen hell if I could shoot whirl in the head I would shoot it so hard friggen ahhgggerrghhhahehaeghsrfhnolsdighs/

fuck whirls

some other stuff. oh yeah, drilled stepping. went alright, didn't drill for that long. some general shred too. might film some more for my short film this arvo.
