She's still not talking to me... in other news, I found out that the Christian school that they just built down the street from me keeps it's parking lot lights on all night long, so I might shred there some nights. I figure it will be a flat surface nearby, so maybe I'll give it a shot. I still suck major ass now though.

Finally had a talk with my parents about the financials. It's not looking too good. I will have enough funds to cover Europe, but it looks like I won't be able to return to university next year. If I don't finish my degree now, I most likely won't ever go back. My parents want me to stay in Raleigh and take classes at a community college, but I'd rather shoot myself in the head than stay in Raleigh more than 5 more weeks. It looks like I have an opportunity to revoke my USA citizenship and take a job in Europe, staying there for the rest of my life. In a way, it is a good thing, because I am absolutely fed up with living in America. But on the other hand, I had a bunch of people COUNTING on me to return to university this next year. The fact that my parents have spent LESS than $1500 helping me with college expenses leaves me in a less-than-poor financial situation. Couple that with the fact that now I have $xx,000 in debt because of student loans, and not even a diploma from university, and I am extremely depressed, and I have myself quite a dilemna don't I? I don't know what to do. I don't know how hard it would be to move to Europe and get a job. I don't even know if that's what I would want to do. This situation has made me even more upset with my parents, for not supporting me like I've seen other friends' parents support their children.

Thanks man.
Things are going okay now I guess. I figured I'd try to write a post that was somewhat positive for a change. I talked to my parents about the loan situation and my mom agreed to cosign with me, so I submitted the paperwork and now I'm just waiting to hear back - it sucks but it's all I can do for now. And at least I'm one step closer to going back. Although I have this weird feeling that the loan won't go through now. Anyways... the World Cup has been pretty entertaining and I've enjoyed watching it. I have the option of playing footbag with Gabe this weekend and I might do that and watch the World Cup with some buddies, or I might go to the beach with some other friends - I'd sort of rather go to the beach but the plans aren't finalized yet so I can't say one way or the other. And finally, only 2 more weeks and 2 days of work left until Europe!

Today has been pretty good. Got in to work and almost no one is here. I've done maybe 30 minutes worth of work and the rest has been research for my trip to Europe. I purchased my Eurail pass and 2 of my 3 flight tickets, but for some reason I had a problem purchasing the 3rd flight. And I still have to buy my ticket for the Eurostar...
And I need to start booking hostels SOON! I also need to buy a few things, but then I'll be ready to go! Only two more weeks.
Italy/Germany game is tomorrow and I really hope Italy wins, but we shall see. I'm also hoping France will beat Portugal, but who knows?

Got my last plane ticket booked... Berlin to Amsterdam, a flight with Air Berlin. So all of my travel is completed! I have picked out the hostels that I want to stay at so I think I will book them soon. I need to double check some things about their locations but then I will be ready to do it.
For July 4th yesterday I went to a cookout and I played baseball. I didn't eat anything at the cookout and I suck at baseball! But I got two hits and I got to run around some, but I was out in left field so I didn't get to catch anything, which was somewhat dissapointing. Then my friend and I got in an argument and he was a bit of a jerk to me so I decided that I don't want to deal with him.
The Italy/Germany game yesterday was AWESOME! I'm so glad Italy won. I love the ritual - singing the Italian National Anthem, painting my face, cheering on the team, etc. I'm looking forward to Saturday. The winner of today's game, France/Portugal, will play Italy for the World Cup Final on Saturday.
College stuff is still a bumpy road - my loan still hasn't gone through yet, but I sent off my lease application for my apartment for next year. Thing is, if the loan doesn't go through by sometime next week, I won't be able to sign the lease and have a place to live, so I wouldn't be going back to uni. And I really want to go. So I hope it works out.

Today I bought a watch. I haven't had a watch in over two years, so it'll take some getting used to. But I needed to get one for my trip in Europe. I also busted a watermelon today. That was cool. Episode 27 of Engagement Head, my podcast, is out. You can download it here: eHead.

Lily finally wrote me an e-mail back... and says she called but I had already left for Europe. At any rate, I'm in Paris now staying at Benoite's house. Haven't played any footbag yet this trip. Actually I accidentally left mine in the USA when I left - I packed it in some shoes I decided LAST minute not to bring...
In London I got to smoke a 2000 Montecristo Robusto Limited Edition in Davidoff of London. That was awesome.

Paris was fun. I did a lot. Got to shred with the 75 Adds guys, which was really fun. The last night I was in Paris some frenchies took me to the catacombs and I had a great time but I'm still exhausted and cut up from it - I have more bruises and cuts from it than I originally thought I had gotten. Now I'm in Nice and it's okay but the transportation's not as good as it could be. And I fell asleep on the beach and I'm sunburned. Soooooooo I don't know what I'll be doing in Nice tomorrow, because I want to try to stay out of the sun's wrath. I'm sure I'll figure something out. Oh they have really good freaking ice cream here.
