oh man, im so excited. today i felt confident enough with my mirages so i took a step up. SYMPOSIUM MIRAGE! yay. im just so thrilled, i think i hit it on 6th or 7th try, its not the cleanest thing in the world but its sexy still. i hit it loads of times too, i was just so excited. and this time i know im doing that move because i looked at hackrifice and its exactly what im doing. wow. i impress myself, cant wait till rob sees it, hopefully next weekend... 8)

thats not it. theres more!!!!

i finally got a run going...

Mirage>Pixie>Symp Mirage

i hit it once and almost a second time but the second time the bag didnt hit on the last toe delay of the symp mirage which pissed me off, but never the less i have a run....finally.

NOTE: The pixie of course is downtime too.

Yeah dude! Awesome, sounds like you're really making progress. I've been freestyling seriously for 6 months now and I still can't hit symp mirage :( so PROPS!. Great job on that run too!! String length is soooo important. See if you can hit that run both ways too. Keep at it.

both ways...you mean.....Symp Mirage>pixie>Mirage ?? i think i can do that if not better because sometimes if i put the hardest trick at the end it gets a little sloppy.

have you ever tried to hit symp mirage?? like seriously tried? i bet you could do it, i do believe though that it requires strength and coordination, but if you dont have any of those you might as well stop playing footbag right now...haha

thanks for your support.

Can you hit those mirages bsos? If so, thats good stuff, i can't hit mirage both sides yet, just right foot, and I've been playing about as long as you (I can do clippers usually though). Try clippers one day man, just start drilling them. It looks and feels really cool when you start throwing them into strings. Oh, and props on the symp mirage! Keep shredding :)

i cant hit my mirages bsos as good as i should but i have before, my left is ugly though and i honestly dont want to work on it.

yea, i have tried doing clippers but its soooo frustrating, more than any trick, first off, my foot barely bends to do an inside stall so around my other leg is out of the question and second, it just bounces right off my shoe, stupid.

It's actually not as much about crank (of course good crank helps  ), but also timing, positioning, and thought process. When you do it, you need to make sure you bend your knee a little bit as the bag is coming down, that part is really important. Also, don't lower your foot to catch the bag BEFORE it gets to your foot, that's what was happening to me a lot. If your timing is right, and you bend your knee, you'll find that its a lot easier to perform. Oh yeah, and THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE DOING. If you aren't concentrating, it's a lot harder to do. Think in your head all of the steps, and it will be easier. Hope this helps.

i decided my mirages were too slow so i spead up the dexing. it looks super sexy now, also, i hit the run again (twice) which is always fun. also i did this fun thing where you throw the bag up as high as you can and catch it with your foot, as you can see i was very bored and i was playing with a crap sack. but still fun at that. pixies are getting nicer too, using faster motion there too

Rowing. Like on those huge boats with like 10 rowers. One of the most cardiovascularly demanding sports there is. It has to be awesome training for footbag.

there are 9 people, 8 rower and one coxswain. The rowers each have one oar,. each rower sits on a sliding seat. you slide up to the front of the slides and when you get to the front you put your oar in the water and pull through, but when you are doing this, you are pushing off with your legs, the arms are almost there to control and hold the oar, im not saying your arms dont hurt like hell at the end of a race, but your legs are a HUGE part of the proccess. i'll try to find a video for you, it will help a lot.
definatley a lot of stuff to remember while rowing but after doing it for a while its all just skill. and oh yea, coxswain is there to steer and yell at you and tell you what to do.
