Car CD Player Trouble...

Post by Lee »

I'm having trouble burning a CD that works in my car. I've tried to put the songs in different formats. I've tried .wmp , .mpg , .mp3 and none of them work. I know it plays burnt CDs because a friend made me one and it works just fine. Does anyone know what format I need to use?

Unless it specifically plays mp3s, probably the only format that will work is .wav. You can only fit about 70 minutes worth of .wav files on a CD.

I've tried .mp3, so I know it wont work there.

And when I try .wav, it won't even start the burn.

AAAHHH!!!

That sucks.
Well, Hopefully I can get things to work in .wav
I found some things wrong, so I'm fixing them.

It's possibly the type of CD you're using. I know there was a certain type of blank CD that my car wouldn't play. I'd be willing to bet that that's your problem.

if you just burn a song using itunes or wmp, it should burn it in wav format.

im pretty good with car electronics, so whenev i c your cdplayer, maybe i could help...

.wav doesn't work.

Hmm...

It could be the CD is wrong thing.
All CD-RWs don't work and all the CD-Rs do.

if your using itunes, dont just drag and drop, then press burn. It will only work in your comp.

You need to burn each song manually. or at least I do.
