Josh- there is a plan to play in the morning at 10 am at U of T. Taishi, Camille and I will be there. I can only play until 1, but maybe the others can play later to get more Josh time in!
EDIT-
Ah crap! I have to work early again!! You guys should sleep in a bit and play later with Josh- I can't make it Friday morning!! Sorry. Friday's are always a gamble for me.
I'm still on for Sunday at the beach, and Saturday if anyone wants.

Mike, sorry to hear that you have to work, but that actually works out pretty sweetly for me... another bar night tonight (it's 2 a.m.) so getting up tomorrow morning was going to suck.
Shred at the beach on Sunday is totally my deal!! I'm thinking 2 p.m. I can play until about 6.
But hey Josh, I will totally play Friday! Noon at the medsci building spot? It's sheltered so we'll be good if it rains. I wrote the directions to the place in a post I made on May 29th. Do you think you could try to get a hold of Billy before you leave? He has my I.D. If you could grab that from him and bring it to the session, that would be awesome. I think he might work early in the day though, so if it doesn't work out, no worries.
Taishi, is noon good for you too? Vida says she's in, so it should be a good sesh.
I look forward to it, guys. See ya then.

I'm not stepping forward as the Emepror of FAT or anything, but 2pm Sunday at the beach sounds like a sure-thing.

I'm happy to play at the same spot as usual, unless you want to play somewhere different.

No problem Taishi. I played anyway. It's really windy out for footbag though. Hope it dies down for tomorrow.
Would it be a good idea for us to meet somewhere easy- like a subway station, and then all go to the spot together? Or Camille could post some of her world-class directions.

world class... not this time...
Let's just meet at Woodbine Station at 2 p.m., up on the bus platform, at the bench in front of the Woodbine South Bus (the 92) loading area. That's the bus we'll take to the beach, it stops right at the Olympic Pools, which is where we'll play.
Cool?
The session on Friday was short but sweet. It was REALLY windy; I also hope it dies down by tomorrow, cuz the beach is usually the windiest place on windy days.
Adam, we miss you too, man! Props on Alpine Blizzardfly! Toronto's shred has been doing unbelievably well, as you can see from this blog! I've also got the club cards and I've been giving them out.
So to keep you updated:
Mike and I went to the Buskerfest in Dundas to play with Jorden, Johnny, and Matt last Saturday. It was amazing! Their performances were awesome. Chilling at Jorden's afterwards was hilariously good fun too. Johnny and I stitched for a bit, and Matt brought me a pair of G-Units! You'll freak when you see them!
Mike and I and Andrew also played here in Scarborough last Sunday. There was a big community festival in the park on my street. We taught a lot of little kids and I gave away a shitload of bags. It was great, even though the kids tired us out.
Other than that, we've been having regular sessions with Taishi and Sam, and a few with Josh, Dan, and Vida. Owen also made it out once. (Owen- I hope to see you tomorrow at the beach! I hope to see you all, actually!)
So Adam, take care, and get back here asap! You will be elated! We all will be. Toronto rocks.

Agh. And here come the fantastic directions...
Owen,
It's the Woodbine Beach. It is at the bottom of Woodbine Ave., just east of Ashbridges Bay. You can check the map of the bus route (92 Woodbine South S) on the TTC's website: http://www.toronto.ca/ttc/schedules/index.htm
The Woodbine South bus passes Queen Street, continues south down to the bottom of Woodbine, and then curves west onto Lakeshore Blvd. Right after turning the curve, you get off. The olympic pools are on the roof of a huge building right there at the bottom of Woodbine, between the road and the lake. You really can't miss it.
The building is surrounded by shred-worthy concrete. We play on the concrete in front of the benches on the south side of the building (beside the washrooms), between the building the bike path. There's shelter, washrooms, and a snack shop (though mighty pricey). Pizza Pizza is also a short walk away, at Woodbine Ave. and Queen St.
I hope this is ok. If you have any problems, just give me a call. My cell is 416-602-1985.
As for the time, you guys can all go there earlier if you want. It's a Sunday so I figured a later shred time was better for everyone, but do what you will. Just let me know (please call my cell at 2) if you go to the beach on your own instead of meeting at the station, because I will be waiting at Woodbine Station at 2, and I'm not really sure who I'm waitin for. Thanks.
See ya all then.

Good instructions Camille. I'll meet at the station at 2, though it sounds pretty easy to get to the spot itself. How about we meet right at the 92 bus platform.

The beach shred was really fun, and my five-dollar-hotdog was delicious!
Anyone up for a 9:30pm shred on Tuesday?
