EDIT- Well it's too late to ask my boss now, so 7:30 is no good for me. But I'm still stoked for 9:30!

Yo Fatties,

I'll be at the beach tomorrow (Friday) afternoon if anyone is interested in shredding there.

I'm doing yoga there at 7 p.m. (FREE if anyone wants to join! Right at the boardwalk at Kew Gardens), but I'm going down earlier (probably around 2) just to chill on the beach, see a few friends... whatever... session anyone?

I can play footbag tomorrow from 14:30 after I work.

But I have to practice soccer tomorrow at 6:30,so I can play footbag until at that time.

Hey guys, wish I could be there tomorrow!

As it is I'll be working, as always. However, I have some minor events to report.
I had a session with my brother yesterday as I was at Dad's for Father's day.
Worked Spinning and Ducking Osis with progress
Footed Diving Whirl a couple times
Progress on flip Pixies, better flip Smears.
My brother remains mostly unvconverted to footbag, however.

Anyway, I thought I'd let you know I'm still working on it when I can.

I know what you mean, Josh. My brother won't get into footbag either. He loves to watch, and respects the amount of skill involved- he even likes to kick the bag around sometimes ... but he knows how much time and energy it takes to get anywhere in this crazy sport, and is not willing to make the sacrifice.

What does everyone think about a night session tomorrow (Thursday the 22nd)? Maybe 9-9:30ish?

Camille, you still up for it?
Taishi, you feeling better yet?
Violeta, you checking the message boards yet?
Vida, you willing to walk the 30 feet from your doorstep to the shred spot?

Dude, I'm actually not able to play tomorrow evening anymore... I MIGHT be able to, but I still have a lot of preparation to do tomorrow afternoon/evening for the 48 hour film challenge this weekend...

BUT, I can play Thursday morning. Would you like to do that? 10-1? I promise not to sleep in this time.

Oh yeah, maybe we should update people a bit on Toronto shred lately!

I did some footbag demos at Inside Out Life Balance fitness centre! Barry, the owner, invited me to their open house last Monday when he saw us shredding at the beach the Sunday before. Andrew came too, but he mostly worked out at the facilities there while I did demos. The people there were really impressed! I got a bunch of them kicking! We tried playing at the baseball park near by to get kids interested, but they were all way more into baseball.

Anyway, it was still great! I worked out there too... I was hurrrrrrrrrrtin after, Andrew trains me hard when we work out together.

He helped me demo some more for them afterwards, which was fun. He makes me so jealous sometimes cuz he rarely plays and yet his shred is always so great and consistent when he does.

Anyway, yesterday Mike & I played with this chick Violeta and her friend Kristian. They used to kick back in the day, and she wanted to get back into it so she emailed me. They had great consistency, and she learned toe and inside stalls really quickly!

Kristian also brought his baby girl, who is sooooooo adorable!!! She seemed excited watching us play too! It was hilarious. I joked about turning her into a shred baby; he said that she's currently mastering rolling over. It can't be long before she's hitting double dexes.

The shred scene here makes me really happy. The sessions, the locations, the people... all are so amazing.

And I played in my G-Units! They felt really good. Super bouncy! And they look really good too. They are "the hottest footbag shoes ever" according to Johnny. I have to agree.

I'm totally fuckin gangsta now.

Anyway, that's all for now. I'll see you guys tomorrow hopefully?

Hey guys
whoa Ive been a ghost lately hey
I HAVE been shredding though! Ive just been shredding with a different group whom dont frequent this wee corner of the internet

Ive been working a LOT. Holding down a couple of jobs and balancing fun on top. So Im impressed Ive been able to play at all and Ive had the fortune of getting some really interesting and fun people into playing footbag or at least kicking it around with me for hours. Its great. I bike like crazy mad amounts too so my legs are constantly getting a good solid work out. This summer is going to be great! Ive been stitching like mad and giving away the bags so people can play. Also Ive been doing pretty interesting trades for my footbags too. Im running out of material so my stint as the footbag fairy will come to a temporary end.

Unfortunately I cant make it to the 9pm shred as I have to work at 10 but Camille you know where I work so you'll no doubt see me kicking a bag around outside there

whatever happened to Peng? I didnt have any contact info and I dont go on here enough to see what went down with that. Is she still in the city?
