Summers rollin' around so the shred is about to begin. Footbag is growing day by day in palatine so me(Jeff) Chris Obara and Jon Nagela are starting up a club. Full Circle Footbag Club, FCFC. We will at least be having weekly shred sessions if not more. We'll post the time, place, and date so anyone who wants to come and shred or chill can come. Anyone who wants to join just has to ask and show up to the shreds!!

Now that i have a little more time i'll tell you a bit about myself and the Palatine scene. My name is Jeff Richards. Im 17 years old and starting playing footbag right around 8-15-05. Im At about guiltless level for now and hope to keep improving at a steady rate. Footbag in Palatine seems to be growing very well. I know of at least 15 other kids in town now that play and also have lavers/G6. Hopefully having a club will help bring everyone together for some sick shreds and faster progression.

Today i mainly drilled BOP's. I have been lacking in the flipside of most of these but they are getting better very quickly. I also need to learn a good flip pixie and cleaner double dex to be more both-sided. I'll probably post after most sessions so stay tuned! Should be a big shred tomorrow!

(Oh ya, i think Jon has a camera so maybe we can get some video of us up sometime! Nothing too soon though....)

Hey im Chris O. whats up guys i love footbag. I started circle kicking with a crochet bag around last summer then Jeff began telling me about freestyle and shit. I started to do casual toe stals and started to do around the worlds and shit but i really was never into it competitivly. At new years jam in chicago i saw everyone have lavers and they were really good. Thats what realy inspired me to footbag and get my first pair of lavers and a 32. After i got my lavers on the 9th of january and began to shred and drill alot with a sandbag. A couple weeks later i got my first 32(a black/yellow footfighter). Now 6 months later i can shred guiltless. I pretty much love to shred everyday i can.

Me and jeff did some drills today and i discovered im better at stepping then i thought i was. I did dimwalk>sidewalk>ripwalk>blur with in a couple tries, then did sidewalk>ripwalk rpt.

New discovery. There are three layers on the new lavers. It has a mesh layer like the regular mesh lavers but a little waxyier, a canvis thats like the mesh lavers, and finaly the luxury layer. I used the luxury layer on my inside of my shoes and mesh as the toe. I got both red/white and the black/white new lavers so im pretty satisfied with my buy. The shoes seem to be fully upgradable. My shoes basicly have a mesh feel and a new luxury neophrene(not sure about spelling) layer.

Blues fest was pretty sweet. I hit alot of pimp strings and i got over 20 guiltless in one string

(new record). It was a nice day at the festival. It almost never rained except for a litle drizzle for a second or two. In the middle of a sting i think i hit 7 or 8 blurs in a row(thank you pain releiving motrin). Jeff should have been there but he was being gay.

Drilled from 11:00-3:00 on and off today. Good drill session. Hit 25 guiltless. Also had one of my longest runs ever with around 35+ contacts. FCFC Shred tomorrow Chris? I know sean and Danny wanna kick. Also learned new trick, Terrage.

I heard the name of the club and thought it was a jab at the CIC. Then I was told it's a reference to circle kicking.

FCFC shred on wed. Im leaving to bonaroo on thurs. so last shred before i party at bonaroo. Ill bring the some of the crew for the shred tommorow. Blair, John, Alex, mitch, sean, danny, maybe Jimmy(i hate him alot

), a bunch of other people, and anyone who wants to shred with us. Im not sure about the time but we're shredding at Deer Grove forest preserve so stay tuned for more updates.(It will be updated for sure in a couple hours)

Had a good shred today with Jon, Chris, John, Sean, Alex, and Danny. Played about 3 hours. Nothing too special throught the day but some good combos. Landed Symposium Whirl for the 1st time. Also hit ripwalk>ripwalk>torque. Footed my first 6 add...Fairy sypmosium swirling osis(i think its 6). Should be a good shred tomorrow as well!

Good to see you at Bluesfest, Chris. you've gotten taller since NYJ, and much better at footbag. Sorry you couldn't make it, Jeff. I don't think we've wever really kicked yet, since i wasn't really free @ NYJ.

We'll probably have a CIC/FCFC/FTB jam sometime over the summer. It should actualy turn out to be a pretty big jam too with alot of food(Ill buy some the food),fun,footbag, and frisbee. It will be the ultimate shred

Had a shred on Wednesday with Jon and Chris. We played for about a half hour and i was already starting to get really tired. But out of no where Reid and Eric came! It was a damn good suprise. So we kicked about another hour with them. I was playing pretty bad but everyone else was lookin pretty good!

What days of Taste should we all try to be there for?

Maybe the last weekend of the Taste... first weekend usually has shitty music because it's also Country Music Festival.

Whoah, whoah, whoah... food?!?!?! I don't know how I missed that, lol. Ok, so we can do the Taste jam, but how 'bout this, we do this grill/footbag thing once a month? Each month will be a different place, Wheaton with the net guys for example, then next month in the south side near Shawn Boyle and so on.

Side note, hope the demo is going well.
