are you talking about having the jam in your school? i think you know all the freestylers in the Nashville area already; it's just you, lee, & the other brian here in M'boro. if you host the jam in late july before schools back in you should be able to get andy & tre, who currently live in Manchester, but are leaving for school once again in the fall semester - maybe even dustin & myself if you're lucky.

why should i support your event when you didn't show up for the massacre back in Feb.? lee showed up and even the Atlanta kids too. there was plenty of freestyle, net, & 4-square. there were 25 people who attended that one, which was the biggest gathering since the last SE Regionals. what...you don't like the mmmm'boro?

Help

Post by tluck234 »

This sounds cool. I need to make sure I can come, but I probably will be able to. I'm willing to help on organizing and I'll judge too. I'll have a little bit of experience since the North Alabama Footbag Competition will be done about a week before this one. You'll want to post the jam on the footag.org event listing. You need to be an IFPA member to do that. Then, post it on the footbag.org informal announcements and the modified.in announcements. Also, it would be good to send an announcement email ([email protected]) close the jam. The only problem is I go back to school on August 4th. Weekend might be a better idea.

man, the girl took priority over v-day. sorry tho.

and yeah, itd be before school starts, at my school.

i can get alot of publicity done thru my schools connections, and we can get alot of sponsors i hope. my school will help all they can, as this is pr for them.

it looks like it will be alittle earlier, like aug 5. i still have to oficially talk to my school, but my boss said its cool.

i had a few chicagouns say they might make it.

there will be legitimate prizes, even tho its just a jam. we are working on getting a tshirt deal too.

hope everyone can make it!!

Oh, this is just bad luck.

The Manchester crew will be rocking nostalgic at the Family Values Tour in Nashville that day. That eliminates Dustin, Andy, and myself from participation.

I don't know about the hours of the event; maybe we can work a before/after shred with you guys.
