(Nintendo) DS Lite

The Nintendo DS Lite came out this week, and they are selling like crazy! Who got one?
A pile of us at work got them, and are enjoying the festive gaming. Previous importers are cool too.

What games did you get?

So far I've got; The New Super Mario Bros. (GREAT GAME!), Castlevania, Metroid Prime Hunters, and Super Princess Peach. Tons of other good titles coming out this year as well. I'm excited!

i did just get the megaman classic series whatev...

its got megaman's 1-8, plus two foriegn mega's.

now i feel inadequite with my old school DS
all ive played was mario+lugi, a little mario kart and about half way through with nsmb.

YES! I was going to make the same topic. I'm getting one. Metroid seems off the hook. I'm getting tetris (hehe) because I've been playing it a lot lately. A lot of advanced tetris players are saying the controlls are too sensitive. They also say its a lot brighter, less bulky, and a lot more responsive.

no job right now, and i dont really wanna spend the money i have, as to not be broke

I got mine the day it came out, and It was necessary to reserve one b'caus they were all sold out! Now I am playing Metroid prime hunter.... And its friggin awesome. My favorite hunter is either noxus or spire. Trace is good too but his alt form sucks ass. I LOVE spire's alt form, but noxus has the best charge shot. Freeze your energy, then sneak in a coulpe headshots with a missile launcher, and badabing, you got a kill.

Wow, that was a great review for Hunters. I haven't played it or thought about it because the review on Gamespot iwas so horrible. It got a good score, but the reviewer was just really bad.

I have a reg DS, but I'll probably trade it in towards a Lite. I have New SMB, Mario Kart, Brain Age, and Metroid Pinball! (which is really fun btw)

What's the advantage of the lite over the original?

The lite is liter!

It's smaller and weighs less and the screens are WAY brighter. Stylus is better and in a better position. It looks better.

True, that and it is very hard to hit unless your Noxus with a fully charged Judicator. Which I usually am. combined with the fact that it would imo lose a fight with a dialanche (spire's alt form) make me not respect it as much, but trace has one of the best normal forms, and Ive lost to alt formers using trace, sotrace is still a good hunter to choose, even though just about everybody I face uses him

somebody should start a metroid prime hunters thread so we can stop hijacking this one.
