Video of the TV on the Spainjam III

Post by Sergio Mendez »

They made us a small videoclip in the TV when we celebrate the Spainjam. Really few footbag appears much in the video, but I have liked the edition very much.

The video can be downloaded from either of these links:
http://footbagconvergence.com/VIDEOS/SpainJam3.mpg
http://www.footbag.org/gallery/show/8784

The website for the video is here:

I always criticize very much the Tv, but I have to admit that it has done to us a big favor, since thanks to this reportage the number of footbagers in Spain has doubled.

Woah! That video was REALLY GOOD

The editing was awesome, it just shows that when professional media (television) gets hold of footbag, they can really make it look cool. I mean if they can make freestyle soccer look cool, it's unimaginable how much potential footbag has in the hands of the media!

Great job getting that on TV guys! It's clips like that that footbag needs to get big! Lots of people would have seen that, they can understand the slomo, the music and the editing gives it an exiting and enjoyable feel, you showed a girl playing which is good (people should no footbag is not just for guys!) and you got to talk about what footbag is (even though I didn't understand any of it  )

Very nice :)

Excuse there are problems with the discharges. The discharges remain by half or do not begin. I have managed it to download point with the program flashget.

I have to go away to work now, and do not return until Sunday. When I return I will upload it to footbag.org or to yousendit.

Excuse for the inconveniences :(

Very cool video !!! I loved how professional it was presented, makes me want to play so bad !! I always enjoy the perspectives from players trying to explain what footbag is, too bad it was in spanish and I had no idea what they were saying other than a few select words. The slomo's were awesome with great quality. I know it's pretty damned hard when you're a spectator to see what is going on since it all looks like a blur, so slomo is key for newbian eyes. Who exactly was in charge of editing that video ?

props !

My guess would be someone at the TV station, definatly looks professionally done, the framerate on the slomos was really high which leads me to believe they used a pro camera too, not a handy cam.

Lol I also uploaded it, but you beat me to posting the link :P
