Hey Guys,
I just recieved my first pair of lavers in the mail. I did the mod off of worldfootbag.com on them, and they are really nice...so light and comfy. The only problem I am having with them is that the "toe walls" are interfering with my pixe/fairy sets and double around the worlds. If I try to dex the bag too quickly, it hits the toe wall and goes all screwy...is there any way I can solve this problem? I was looking at the "post your shoes" thread and it looks like some people cut the toe wall right out...not really sure how I should go about doing this though.
Question about Lavers
you just gotta suck it up and cut. i did it because the bag would get wedged in between the shoe and the wall, but i know people who can do pixies and doube atw fine with walls, you just gotta get used to it. you can start by just trimming the wall down a little ( down to the lace holes, maybe) and then if you feel good about it trim a little more. As far as looks...you gotta be humble, although i did see a pair that had removed walls, but he stitched the sides back to the toe/tongue and they looked almost like factory made.
Plain, with everything.
You can also try trimming down the outside wall only (the one that goes along your outside), it will help you with pixies and fairies. No need to cut down the inside wall since it will reduce your inside area and increase the likelihood
of missing clippers which you don't want.
I agree with TheVindicator, learning with toe walls is very important.
Learn from Honza Weber - his pixies are awesome and he keeps toe walls.

no, you need to improve your technique. what it means is that you are rolling the bag off your foot instead of setting it. setting the bag is much cleaner and in the long run is much cleaner and you will be forced to be very consistant. i say keep em on.Oroza wrote:you just gotta suck it up and cut.
