Bookmarks are great! I had this idea kinda for blogs, but now I can just bookmark them.

I don't really like the new unread posts link. I like the old way, because I could refresh the new posts. Now when I refresh, the post I just read disappears, and I can't see if anyone responded or whatever.

If somebody responded, then the post would appear on the unread posts page.

I was signed in last night to write a long PM before checking the forum, and all of the sudden my computer froze up and I had to restart. I lost the PM but didn't have to search each forum to find the new posts that I had not yet read. Thanks a lot Mike. :-)

A problem with the bookmarks.... they don't show that theres a new post (by the icon indication) when there is a new post on the thread. Fixing this would be wonderful.

Yep -- I realize this. I'll try to get around to fixing that (and so that they show the pages) in the next few days.

On many boards when you click view profile you can see "all posts" and "threads started by this person".. The feature "Threads Started By This Person" would be really nice to see. If you want to find videos by someone or go directly to the persons blog.
Thats my suggestion for today.

I remember someone recently asking for something to do with adding ________ at the bottom of the page as well at it already being at the top. I was going to pass that along to Mike but can't remember who it was or what it was. Would you keep your eyes open and post a link here if you find that post?

i think what youre talking about is having the "mark all posts as read" at the bottom as well as at the top... because if youre scrolling through the "new posts" then you get to the bottom and there is not "mark as read" or "back to top" button.

Signature Problems -- Fixed

Post by Moxie »

Recently (today?) there was a problem with signatures on Modified which prevented people from being able to change their signature. It gave an error like this: "No websites allowed in intial profile. No occupations allowed in initial profile."

Mike has since fixed that problem.

Have a good day. :-)

I have a suggestion. . .

I no longer have interenet where I live, so I can't browse modified as often as I would like. Is there anyway there could be a mobile browser version of the site. I can get to the main page on my cell and even check pm's but I can't view anything else. I have no idea how hard this would be, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

I have no idea about that either, Sen. That is in Mike's area of expertise.

There was a problem for a while in that when people changed their e-mails or passwords the system would deactivate their account. They would e-mail me or have someone else PM me and I would reactivate their accounts. I didn't know what was causing it, so Mike did some searching around and fixed it.

Thanks Mike.

This has bothered me for a long time, but just now realized something can be done about it.

'Journeys' is spelled incorrectly in 'Journies to Tournies'
Jay (8:06:01 PM): Bu-bu-buu-buug--Looks up, and the feeling goes away like a sneeze-bu-buuuh-BULLLSHITTT
Jay (8:06:14 PM): *wipes bellybutton*

It used to be a pet peeve of mine but now I find the misspelling endearing.
