I can't make it
For three reasons:
1) Work: I can't get those days off
2) Passport: I forgot that I need on to get into Canada via the airport in Portland... and they take too long to get, and the cost -
3) MONEY: I have a little bit, but the trip would cost like $600 or so including airfair...
Sorry guys, I wish I could go, I really do, but it's impossible unless I quit my job, get a new one, spend lots of money for a passport, expidite the time it takes to said passport by bending the rules of time and space, and then get a family member to croak so I can get the inheritance...
P.S. (at the risk of sounding gay) I love you guys, I wish we could hang out more...

it's not like it's a lame excuse like i can't drive out because my air conditioning is stuck on high or my 2nd cousin's friend's 32nd birthday is happening that weekend. he's gonna be in another country, and that's legit.
however i gotta say, when it comes to smaller jams, particularly for "first annuals" and comps in their early years when there is really "no draw", no special reason, no big names, etc. if you throw a small jam and people come out, i really feel it's proper to do every thing you can to make it out to their jam. ESPECIALLY if they came alone, traveled across the country or across the continent to make it out you should try to do the same.
obviously you can't make every jam, but keep in mind who comes out to your jams on the regular and show them the same support! Footbag is too small a comunity (especially in canada where the number of players and comps is low and distance between players is a huge factor) for people not to support each other. And if you can't make a jam stitch them a bag for a prix or something like that!

Edmonton made it out to MFJ 2 years running (the first time for only 1 day!) and now montana has missed out the last two shredmentons. Sad. It's all good as long as Lovely makes some god damn videos!
I decided to drive my car there, either alone or with mario. So call me Mr. Confirmed. And Rory, you better be ready to play some diabolo
