GOD DAMNIT EMILY WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM

I figured out a lot of stuff with this bag. I now have a uniform system of gather, I screwed up on a few panels with uneven gather on this bag, especially the blind stitch one but I've got it figured out now. I also know how high up i want my stitches, and why I was having another problem...

Anyways, good learning experience, kickable bag I guess. maybe not shreddable yet though.

*EDIT* I left a few things out of my last shred post, because I was in pain. I also hit zulu, weaving, ducking and diving clipper in the same run. Also, when we were shredding two little kids, I guess about 11 or 12 years old walked by while i was in the middle of a run and were like "WHOOOAAAA" and one of them challenged me to "21," I guess it's a game where you see who gets to 21 kicks first. He got to like 7 kicks which I was impressed with, then he tossed me the bag and I hit a 21 contact tiltless string with drifter, dlo, whirl, and some ducking. BOOYAH LITTLE KID! IN YOUR FACE!

haha, then I told them about footbag.org, hopefully they'll pick it up. I want to start carrying strips of paper with footbag.org and other footbag websites on them, or those footbag fundamental flyer things from freedom .

got a little further on that bag, 5 flowers now.

played today with chad sam and jeremy.
no new fatty combos or moves, but i had a few real good runs, got to 38 tiltless when i was going for 50, and had some alright other stuff buuut.. yeah, nothing new or crazy.

Had one of the best sessions of my life with chad today in hermosa. Next week I think I'm going to go play net with them down there as well.

51 contact tiltless run starting with butterfly>whirl>butterfly>whirl, I think I had about 30 uniques and I know I had 10+ three-adds.

came real close to eggbeater bsos

my atomics were really ugly and inconsistent today but I didn't really care! I think I might have played so well because I got 11 hours of sleep last night. I should sleep till 1 and play footbag at 2:30 every chance I can get.

Forgot to mention, haha, we started to play with my 2nd bag I finished, the multicolored one, and Chad was saying it was already shreddable, and asked me if I was going to sell them. I said, "No, I don't have any kind of confidence in my stitching yet." The bag proceeded to bust after about 5 minutes of kicking. haha. But there's no way that's going to happen to the bag I'm making now, or at least I hope not...

I've been thinking a lot about trying to go completely guiltless; I think I'm going to devote maybe half of my sessions to runs of 3's and 4's only but I'm afraid it's going to be mighty frustrating...

Going back to jiu jitsu tomorrow, shredding the shit out of my new bag tomorrow to make sure it's not going to bust before I bring it out to play with seasoned veterans.

I came to a few conclusions today.

A.) My stamina = Completely shitty.
B.) My new bag = Will be shreddable when broken in, it's a little too full.

I had a short, tiring, disappointing session while I was babysitting today, had some time to kill while the kid was napping. Anyways it was lackluster and lets me know how far I have to go in order to be happy with my game. My stepping has completely gone to shit and other disappointing stuff.. but oh well. I've got plenty of time to get better.

you should school bops a lot like everyone says
but especially some bop links that need to be sooooooo easy that they take no energy and you barely drop
exemple:
osis>infinity
infinity (or buterfly)>pdx mirage

I think those 2 are fairly easy, and need to be all the time, both sides, to help regain strenght and balance after a hard move or a hard combo..

I think ducking clipper type of moves need to be as easy as well

Didn't get a chance to play today.. ... ( I could probably have found time but it would have been a solo session, kind of decided to save my energy for tomorrow hopefully sam will be able to kick with me tomorrow.)

BUT I am almost finished editing all the footage from SCI !!! I'm pretty happy with the vid so far, there's no crazy special effects just good shred, good music, and good transitions. I'm going to use dave as a guinea pig before I unleash it on the public.

oh, i DID practice pixie barefoot a little bit .. i still fucking hate that move.

*edit* made some last minute changes to the vid, exporting it and uploading it asap. It's the mad dope.

Yeah I dunno, there was some issue but fuck it, our entries were good.

session tonight with sam and chad.

I played like shit.

the only semi-cool thing I think i hit was zulu clip>zulu clip, and I footed blurry drifter twice. I HAD it and dropped it; I was having trouble hititng drifter all night, my atomics sucked.. i hit ripwalk>ripwalk a few times.. disgusting session but still good. I guess I had one or two decent runs I forget what they were kinda.. oh and P torque strongside only though.

Life is good. Shredding tomorrow or the next day, my back and neck are pretty fucked, 4th of july is coming up though. Eh. Sometimes you're flush sometimes you're bust.

Played yesterday with sam, brett, dave. Dave is back to playing again with his knee injury, it doesn't seem to be giving him much trouble or at least it wasn't yesterday. I don't remember anything inparticular I was pleased with yesterday.

Today, I played net with Chad D, Greg, Sam, Kenny, Sean. I played 3 or 4 games and did ok (for me.) I'm going to start playing net every week in hermosa with them. Chad and I freestyled afterwards, I hit some ok guiltless strings, and a few cool combos,

ripwalk>ducking butter bsos, diving>ducking butter rpt, butter>diving clip>ducking clip rpt, spent a lot of time / came REAL close to drifter>p drifter rpt, and drifter>spin clip rpt, made it to the 3rd contact multiple times. whirl>ripwalk>whirl

Tried spinning>zulu clip rpt the last few sessions.. very hard combo for me.

drilling my osii helped the most with my string length. Osis is a great bail move to bring the bag back into play. far osis>ss osis>rpt is a wonderful drill as well as osis>rpt.

Yeah, I think I've hit about 13 osis consecutively but I stopped drilling them very much at all. Practiced some bop tonight, hit a cool combo I've been trying for a long time, Drifter>Pdx Drifter>Drifter>Pdx Drifter.

Uhm, oh, butterfly>pdx mirage>legbeater bsos, ripwalk>sidewalk, flip blur (been hard lately,) some cool ducking stuff.

Footbag is fun. I miss Santa Cruz.

Oh, threw out a couple of mullet attempts at the end of the session, that move is huge, my timing is a little bit off and I need to have better balance on the landing. I want it.
