soccer freestyle - no footbag

Post by mikeanello »

Just a quick little soccer freestyle. Watch for the miraging muted toe kick. This guys good. Someone give that man a footbag!

By the way, is there a name for this soccer freestyle? I'm so clueless sometimes.

Here is another video that I feel sends a really good message. I think it applies to all sports, including our own.

Enjoy.

i think that other video was kinda funny, the one guy failed to get a goal, so he not only took over, but blocked a shot then scored, lol that was awesome, thanks for entertaining me :D

My girlfriend's brother had been telling me about this video. I didn't believe him about the whole kicking it off the crossbar thing. And he said the guy only did it twice! He does it like 4 times! Insane!

you might want to look a bit closer at the path the ball travels  ronaldinho is good, really good and it is amazing that he manages all the jjuggling and the tricks without a drop (=no cut in the video), but the shots at tthe crossbar are so fake....

I agree that the kicks to the crossbar are fake. There are a few variables to consider here; 1) someone is kicking a ball over a long distance, 2) the ball is supposedly bouncing off of a cylindrical object, and 3) the ball is returning to the point of origin. All of these, not to mention the fact that he would have to kick the ball at a perfect right angle to the goal post otherwise it would come back too far to his left or right, are just too many possibilities that it simply cannot be done four consecutive times in a row.

Then someone like Vasek comes along and hits four symposium whirrs in a row! SYMPOSIUM WHIRRS! DAMN IT!

well, that is the theorethical part - if you just look at the path of the flight of the ball, you see it actually doesn't hit the crossbar. or it wouldn't if it would follow its natural path - so it is likely that he was either jsut kicking at a wall, or even more likeleyto just kick it behind the goal and somebody threw another ball back.

I agree, the second kick to the net went no where near any part of the posts.

Here is my favorite soccer movie.

The translation in the English subtitles were really bad, but you get the point and the special effects and acrobatics in this movie were top notch. Stephen Chow is awesome. Give that man a footbag!

Stephen Chow is known for his exaggerations.

Take Kung Fu Hustle for example.

http://www.kungfuhustle.com/

In this movie Stephen Chow pokes fun at a variety of kung fu styles, like Toad and the Buddhist Palm. There are incredible fight scenes with people flying around through the air and breaking the ground when they land. It is all for the sake of comedy, and personally I felt this movie was hallarious.

I'm not sure what POS movie is, unless you are referring to point-of-sale. In that case, considering I bought a copy, yes it is.

I talked to a guy who plays this when I was in Winnipeg a few weeks ago and he said that it's just called Juggling... :? Honestly, if they can't come up with a cool name, why don't they just drop the idea. They need something with a nice ring. like maybe "Phute Bhaagh"... doesn't that sound nice? Just rolls right off you toungue, the same way a bag with 120 pannels rools off your foot.

mm mmmm!! Feels good to say, eh?

Thanks Mike. That was good. I played soccer well today.

I was the only one to score a goal for my team in the pick up game.
