Today pool shred with Tobi.
He did good tiltless runs and 5x Clipper > Clipper

My highlight in this short session was: DLO > ParkWalk rpt.

yeah! big time. at home I just don't try those things! but if max or someone just explains me a couple of times it's so much better to get the point and grasp the movement... gonna try it today for a couple of minutes. but now my legs are really sore.

anyway.

won't make it today. but some info:
- I will be there on sunday. entire time. (but lets check out some other stuff! have to meet my ultimate frisbee buddies!)
- I will bring all todexon bags with me (consolation prize, gifts, ...)
- I don't have a stereo, could only offer discman (mp3 capable)
- don't have a car
- my roommate has a bench and some table, going to ask tonight, if we could borrow that... but still the problem of transport

- dont have a TV, only laptop... but a bit too risky just to show some shred dvd

hehe. well, I don't have much to offer.

but just to know. for the report.

I played for an hour in our house yesterday. After warming up with bop's I drilled Drifters, PDX Drifters and Torques. I went pretty good even though I couldn't hit flip torque. But I got Blurry Drifter on my flip

02.July 2006 - Die Lange Nacht des Sports (Long Night of Sports)

Munich-Footbag was represented at the Münchner Lange Nacht des Sports
with a 3x3 space, with a TV that showed Shred videos all day, some
Footbags for sale, workshops and demo shows. Everybody showed up
(except for the Landshut people - "Spikehammer" Mike Hemmer, are you
back from Soutgh Afrique??)

We were shredding all day - Bea, Max, Daryl, Toby and me, as well
as Sebastian from Frankfurt, who lives in Munich now! Welcome to
the crew, Sebastian! He had some nice blenders all over the place, and
his style looks so much like Rippin' Rick Reese's, it's scary.

Everybody was playing well, I don't remember anything in particular,
but there was a crowd at our stand all the time, big interest from all
ages.

The best commentaries:

"Ihr soitet's liaba Schuhpladdln!" - (in bavarian accent: You should rather be "Schuhplattling"! (bavarian folk dance)

A guy, after watching scenes of Vasek in "The Move" on the Telly: "...Total uninteressant." and then moving on ("...totally uninteresting.")

"Ah, des kenn I, des is des neie Footbangen!" ("Ah, I know that, it's that
new Footbangin'!")

BTW Max, hast du die Kreide noch?

My legs are sore. But it was big fun.

We're on TV next Saturday on Bayern 3, maybe Max knows more Details
about that, he was interviewed.

Btw. we are mentioned in an article about the Lange Nacht in the Newspaper (SZ) I will scan it next week and put it on munich-footbag.de.
The TV show with my interview and shred footage

will be aired today at 16:05 on the Bayerisches Fernsehen at "Sport am Samstag! I will record it!
