Sorry you're feeling sick. Even when you're feeling better, don't push yourself too hard or you'll just end up sick again.
Glad to hear your roommate is still an ass.

so i finally kicked today! feeling enough over my cold i headed out on my 15 minute adventure to memorial union theater to kick in the glass panel area.
Due to not having kicked in awhile i figured i'd start with essential basics.
Greatly improving my osis was a goal and in good time (25 minutes) i was hitting:
osis into ripwalk! (both sides)
and
ducking osis into pdx mirage (flipside!)
in fact i even bsos'ed ducking osis!
i played around with fairies some more too unfortunately it's too weird for me. The only way i can explain it is that both sides are close but the flipside fairy seems drastically different from the strong side fairy.
Strong side = a more behind the knee upward dex
weak side = a set then almost like an out to in atw
anyway! pressing on! classes are pretty good so far, alot more work but alot easier in my opinion, i'm well on my way! Everything is going very well i'm excited to be living life! w00t!
Happy Wednesday everybody

Ahhh just when i thought the worst was over i got hit with a few more symptoms after the buzzer. After my last sesh (as previously posted) i proceeded to lose my voice and develop a cough, further impeding my footbag practice
Regardless i've been trying to get better while conquering the demanding regiment that is my school routine. In lack of footbag news the only thing i have to say is that i can't wait to shred again!

It's been awhile since i'm posted i'm sorry to all my readers (zach and henry)
. But i have to tell you i've finally dropped the mind set that this cold will just pass through. Three weeks after getting this god awful cold i finally decided that my immune system isn't going to handle it on it's own and i need to see a doctor. A sharp pain everytime i swallow food was finally enough to convince me. It's been about 2 weeks since i last had any shred and i'm sure it'll be two more, all i can hope for is that i can still do a mirage ( ha ha!). Went and saw flogging molly on friday they were frickin' amazing and now it's back to the grind. I hope everyone is kicking their finest and hopefully i'll enter back into the game come v-day.

Maybe. It's nice that we can share the important things, like viruses. Make sure to remind me to punch you when I see you over Spring Break.
But yeah, if Peter had mono, and you have mono, it's very unlikely I survived unscathed.

First shred in almost A MONTH. don't get too excited though folks. I noticed that i didn't lose much in the way of ability, however in the ways of endurance my sensai is surely shaking his head in disappointment right now. I was only able to go for about 45 minutes before my body felt ready to explode
Such is the life of a recovering carrier of mononucleosis.
Best run of the day!:
Pixie legover (op)>Smear>Dimwalk>Zulu Clipper!!>Osis (sealed)
Hooray for not losing my ability and for re-entering the game of footbag. For now at least.

All of a sudden i'm horribly depressed, well i guess not all of a sudden but it's made this day horrible all of a sudden.
1- after footbag today i ache horrible and not just the legs either. I feel deathly tired but not tired enough to fall alseep, it blows.
2- my girlfriend's best friend is coming down and she's a horrible influence in my opinion. Basically my girlfriend and i were on a sober basis for some time which has been amazing. When talking about her friend coming down she stated "i don't really want to drink", which i found to be incredibly cool. Not even 10 seconds later however she exclaimed "no, i probably will drink, i had a hard week", which is hardly a good reason for her to drink considering she never does. That coupled with the exclamation "I'm taking shots right now!" and her friends extremely persuasive hold on her have made me really nervous for her. I trust her completely, but i don't entirely trust her judgements when she's under the influence, of alcohol and her friend's pressure. Anyway i've been beating myself up mentally over it and now i'm shaking kind of violently.
I just want this day to end, sorry for the deep inside look of life but i had to write something to get it out and this is the only forum i belong to. Besides Zach will find it interesting.

Good call on that one. I found that to be the best blog entry you've ever had, though I'm sad the content is so negative. I hope you feel better soon, and that your girlfriend doesn't get involved in anything she'll regret. Much love!MaelstromEx wrote: Besides Zach will find it interesting.

Jacking my blog back i have fantastic news! I had my first long session in 1 month!!!!! It lasted 2 hours (in total) and i even brought along a notebook to commemorate the occasion!!! Here are the major highlights!!! hell yeah!!!
Magellan> Double ATW (in>out)>Dimwalk>pdx mirage>pixie op clipper>spinning clipper>ripwalk>far legover!!!!! (that's 7 guiltless clean contacts!)
Diving phoenix (strong; not sure about this one, i basically did phoenix but instead of ducking it was diving and same side)
Pixie SS Mirage (Flip, it was a long time coming and the drilling of flipside pixie in january really paid off)
Stepping SS Da Da Curve (Strong, twas a fun trick!)
ATOMSMASHER
(strong, holy crap did this one amaze me, not only that but it feels so cool to pull out!)
Ducking osis>ripwalk (strong, an extremely hard combo but would be cool to include into more runs. I'm really pushing that osis>stepping _____ combo and hopefully it'll be awesome)
In news outside of footbag...that whole thing last weekend worked out better than expected. It turned out i came along too and had a fantastic time. School is going along really well and my girlfriend is the best ever. Last night i woke up violently coughing and being polite i left the room so i wouldn't wake my roommate up and she actually woke up and came with me. She's so amazing, this is probably only one of 4 times ever i'll be mushy on my blog so don't get used to it.
Keep shreddin' people!
oh and a side note, i was kicking outside henry so it won't be long now! i even wore shorts

Nice stuff. Pixie diving butterfly is darkwalk, by the way. I'm glad you can kick, though I really wish I could.
And I'll be calling sometime as I finally found a ride to Madison. Or, more precisely, I found a ride to Beloit and a ride from Beloit to Madison.

Well a short post today
hit atomsmasher and legbeater flipside and worked on endurance til my legs were tired! It was awesome! Unfortunately this cough is going to kill me and our stupid bandwidth regulations here knocked me back to 56k connection because i had a bunch of people uploading files from me, friggin lame!

Wow a full month has gone by since my last post. Many of you may of thought i quit but the honest truth is modified changed it's name and i totally got left out of the news for awhile.
In other news i'm on a feckin' roll in terms of footbag. Runs just seem to be piecing together so well and i've got tiltless down so well that it's damn super fun now.
Today i was hitting 10+ tiltless/guiltless (half and half) combos with some crazy cool stuff i decided to try such as:
Zulu osis!!!
PS Mirage (both sides)
Torque (smooth strong side)
Ducking pickup
(say what!?)
A funny story with the torque is that a manager at the restaurant i was kicking in front of was watching casually and then i hit torque smoothly mid-run and all he could say was "woah....uhh i mean...nice" and then proceeded to give me a thumbs up. I live to serve the public man...that's what i do. heh.
In terms of life, school is awesome, spring is here, my roommates a douchebag and everything is pretty good (roommate thing is expected, he's always been an asshole but now i'm justified in acting like an asshole to him, huzzah!)
Peace out all y'all
