Vida, I can help you out with the facile sitch. Talk to me on MSN about it.
F.A.T.
Sorry Vida, I'm no longer in Toronto and I'm sorry to everyone. I really wanted to shred but not being able to post on Modified made it really inconvenient to make plans with you all. I will be in Toronto again and I'll be sure to contact you guys to shred.

So, what is everyone doing (footbag-wise) for Canada day/weekend? I just found out I have the Monday off (which is rare for me), and think we should all get together and kick at some point.
-One possible option, if there is enough interest, is for me to rent a car or van and cart a bunch of us to Ottawa for the TOFU shindig.
-Then again, I've had 2 hectic weekends in a row and wouldn't mind just playing here In Toronto.
-Option 3 is to all go to Hamilton for shred, BBQ and swimming in my pool- but that would require, you know, going to Hamilton.
Thoughts?

Mike, I like all of your ideas! I really can't decide!
I know we really wanted to do the Ottawa thing... But now it seems kinda last minute to be planning such an excursion, and those guys don't seem very organized at all. I doubt there will even be a competition, they don't have enough judges. I also wonder how many of us can get the weekend off of work or afford to go there... You'd have to have a full car load...
Hamilton sounds awesome but we can always do that any other weekend, right? I say that if it's Canada Day, either go to Ottawa or stay in the city and enjoy the craziness at the beach! The Toronto fireworks get better and better every year and there are a LOT of people, so playing there would be fun and good for the club and the city's shred scene.
So I don't know... It's Paul Toew's birthday this weekend and our friends are planning a thing to go up to his stepdad's place in Pefferlaw. So I really should be doing that...
I don't know what to do!
I doubt I will be able to do anything... It's also my 7 year anniversary with Andrew on Monday!
... things are pretty hectic eh?! And I'm still recovering from this past weekend... how absolutely crazy it was!!!
Oh yeah, Mike and everyone! The film that Mike and I made with some of my friends for The 48 Hour Film Challenge this past weekend will be screened downtown at U of T this Thursday evening, between 7 and 9 pm!
You should all come! Tickets are $10 and there will be 11 other 8 minute films screened too. Should be fun!
So what does everyone think of Canada Day weekend? There are too many options.

I know its last minute- but I'm gonna practice tomorrow (wed. 28th) morning at 10 am. If anybody wants to give me some company that would be rad. Let me know, otherwise I'll just play by my house... alone
Any other thoughts about the weekend?

As much as I enjoyed driving to Montreal, I'm not really interested in driving again. It's a big, huge chunk of responsiblity that I honestly don't really feel like having on my shoulders so soon again. I'd love to be there, but I really don't wanna drive at all.

I hear ya, Dan. And I understand. It seems like the GTA crew- myself included- are going to be a bunch of lazy bitches and stay home this weekend.
I guess I'll go to Hamilton and do the family thing- unless you guys want to have a big session in Toronto at the beach on Saturday!! Anyone?

Mike.. Friday evening sounds alright. Say a time. Although I'd prefer something during the day, but I guess swinging that with work is tricky
. If anyone wants to chill at the beach during the afternoon that'd be cool. By "chill", I mean practice volleyball because I am in a tournement next weekend and I haven't touched a ball for 4 years. When I touched it last I was awful anyways haha.

I might actually be around again this weekend! Keep the blog updated with Shred times for the weekend, especially Sunday, and hopefully I'll be able to make it to something.
Rain delayed my work today, so I was able to do a morning session today here in Alliston. And I'm so happy, it turned out really well.
Highlights:
Phoenix! Both sides!!!
And also, Spinning is starting to really break through for me!
Spinning Butterfly first time ever both sides, same with Merkon.
6 new accomplishments, including my first flip 5... life is okay after all!
I can't wait to see you all soon! Great to hear there might be shred in TO this weekend!
P.S. The other day I hit my first Blurry Whirl! I've now done it a few times, but only footed my flipside... a work in progress!
