Mike, I'm not an advanced player or anything, but I think having the control to be able to freeze after any move is cool. Being able to carry the momentum into the next is very important. maybe try:

osis>flapper>rpt It looks cool and takes control.

whirls are fine and reverse whirls are better maybe sometime in the middle of next month I will add that element. I just want consistancy first before I start adding elements.

word.

However, I have noticed that if I add an element, it helps to realize what my problem is, if any, with the components. For example, my oses are ok, but when i started trying dyno, i realized that my set is too far from my body. When I realized that, my oses got a lot better.

Just a thought.

I sessioned last night. My record was 6 but before I go any further let me say. Soeey bring on the pigs. I had a really sloppy session, I was having alot of difficulty getting the links up to four and five like I have been for the past week. I didn't feel good the whole session, but I kind of grinded through it and I thin the results demonstrate that.

Today was a fun morning. I was riding the bus and some chinese guy wanted the seat beside me, so what did he do? He started stomping on my foot, yes that will make me move. I am five foot eleven and one ninety. So I just didn't move. Then he tried to squeeze in so I crushed him then he left. I just don't understand why all chinese people assume that only chinese people can speak chinese that is ridiculous. Enough for my rant.

That is funny. Everytime I ride the bus, I feel like people are afraid to sit next to me. I try to keep the spot next to me open, if possible. Keep in mind that everything in Japan is small, especially the buses. They just dont sit next to me, not that I mind...

hey,

keep me posted about tournaments in Japan. I would like to come, I just have to make sure it fits into my schedule. I really miss a footbag community. In saskatoon the community was really tight I am not sure about it now but assume that it is. Campbell does a good job of keeping it active. Speaking about that, hey Campbell when are you going to put on a tournament in Saskatoon again.

Word.

I believe the Japan Nationals will be around October, but I don't think anything is in stone yet. I have been thinking about getting one together in the summer sometime, so I will keep you posted...

I was feeling burnt out yesterday so I took the day off yesterday and visited with my old friend the PS2. I have almost finished the fantastic 4 game now so that was all right. I also did some yoga with the wife and my body feels alot better today. Yoga is ok, I think it is a little earthy for me but that is just me. Nevertheless, stretching is always a good thing.

So bored today,

I have been playing black tiger ( classic arcade came, circa 1987). I have been granted holidays now, so super stoked. I will be heading home, well sorta, for two weeks in the beginning of september. I am going back to Canada just to my parents place in BC. I need to replace my passport, it literally looks like the dog ate. I have to carry it around here with me everywhere. The nice canadian gold logo is gone it has been rained up I don't know how many times. Considering I live in a swamp so I should not be surprised.

I think I will be head down to Victoria and try to catch a session there. I will email Matt or Allan to see if anyone has time. I really miss having a footbag community to jam with. I mean it would rule to head back to Sask and jam with the Hotsteppers. Man, that club is a decade old now, I hope it holds up for another ten years. I worry when Campbell moves, he's almost finished commerce, that club will crumble up and die. Also, I have to go to Vancouver to the Chinese consulate to get my business visa renewed. I could get it done here but it just equals more time in Canada so why not do it there. Also, I want to look at some oppertunities to set up an import / export company in Vancouver. I have all the hook ups so why not.

Honestly, I am stoked to go home. I have been almost two years here and the work and pay is fine. However, having no friends or family sucks. Just really depressing. I am an optimist so so looking forward to getting back. I wish I could get the month, that way, I would not have to be back until the hong kong fair but I feel that it is a pipe dream.

Take care and hope so see some of you in a couple of months.

Whats up all and happy Canada day. I had a good session last night. The high was seven but I hit along of strings of five. So I am pretty happy about that. I suppose that is it. People were going world cup crazy last night so it was a little to get to sleep and I am feeling it today. I am at work, man I hate the 6 day work week here. The rest of the world stops on saturday so it is pointless to be here. Oh well watch footbag videos and study chinese.

Hey,

I had been continuing my steady sessioning. My record was six last night but I was able to hit that string seven times so that ruled. I am just going to keep going with it until the end of the month. In august I am going on to torque. I am thinking about going swirly in the mornings. I think I can do it, I just have to wake up the morning at about six. Hey, I was a paperboy when I was young so it is just a matter of getting into a routine again.

I am finally feeling mentally well now. I no longer feel like this :x everyday and now I feel like this now everday  . All the negative things in my life is gone now and hopefully it will never return. I have my footbag room back and a quiet peaceful life.

Take Care and have a great day

Hey Mike,

Nice blog. The scene in Saskatoon is going okay. There are about four active kickers, two of which you have not met.

I'd say it's about 19 to 25. Dave kicks it whenever I ask him to come to a session. Version 3.0 still kicks a bit, but some of them left for the summer.

A few of us should be going to Edmonton in a few weeks.

July 5. 2006

My high was 8 last night. I was a pretty good session last night. My average string length was 4 to 5. It really makes me happy since I am starting to achieve that consistantly that I have been looking for. I want to keep that up. That is my goal right now is to maintain that kind of level. Hopefully, by the end of the month I can have that consistency at around the level of ten in row. That is about all for now. I hope you all have great day.

I was able to play last night again. My high was nine and my average string length was four. I suppose that the consistancy is coming still three weeks to go.

I am so busy lately. My own company is getting off the ground. I am opening a sourcing company for people who want to buy things in China. I have had the company up for three days and already five orders. Quick start makes me happy. I have to get some work done for it now. I hope you all have a successful and prodcutive day.

Hey all,

Yesterday the high was seven with string length of four. It was not a great session. I felt ill for most of it, I don't know my head was not really into it but I went through it anyway.

Man life is so busy now. My own company is taking off quickly much more quickly than I had expected it to. It is taking up alot of my spare time but hey it is good. I am well on my way to being my own boss, so I suppose that is not all bad. Hopefully, by this time next year I will be my own boss. I hope you all have great sessions and a great day.

I have gotten bored with osis. On monday (july 10) I was able to hit a high of 11 in a row. I have moved on to torque. Last night I was able to hit 3 in a row regular and one in a row on flip. I will continue to practice it.

Take care,

Mike
