Footbag@School

Post by RawSko »

Here is the story of an epic journey through dangers, unparalelled by nearly anything else on the planet. A story of exciting adventure and cunning. Two heroes (one of whom sadly does not play Footbag) throw themselves into the face of Death, laugh, and then are nearly killed. All this courage and bravery is what saves a lost footbag from a school Roof-Top.

( :P )

I decided to collect some oppions about Footbag on camera before my buddy and me climbed onto the roof... there's some cool footage. I like this vid! The footage while we're on the roof is terrible because we're trying desperately not to get cought.

It's kinda disapointing because the footbag that we rescue is really crappy... just a 2 dollar piece of junk Hacky-Sack. Indirectly, I am saving many 32's however. If this bag is lost, people will want to kick with my propper footbags, wich they will (unintentionaly) ruin.
logic!

Carrying out this mission was WICKED fun though. I'm sitting at home, suspended for it right now though. :P haha
it was worth it

Enjoy!
lemme know what you think

That was fun to watch. Haha yeah I was kinda surprised when I saw it was a Sipa. But hey man, even they need to be rescued sometimes...

I kicked a bag up on a light pole recently, and climbed up that sucker in 10 seconds. I'd probaly never climbed a pole before that lol.

That video was awesome Ben! I used to rescue hacks all the time from the roof of my high school. It was always a dangerous mission, and whoever could pull it off without getting caught would be the hero of the hack circle. Your film totally reminded me of those days.

We just recently added a new addition to the school with new classrooms and workrooms and techrooms and everything. One of the things, we failed to remember until we were nearly finished... the teacher's workroom overlooks the rest of the school's roof. ( ) they were watching us literaly the whole time... Sitting there, laughing. That's how we got cought.
We were trying to be sooooo stealthy too! Ducking behind obstacles and rolling across the (REALLY HOT) ashpalt roof-top and just over-all making fools of ourselves

it was soooo much fun

yup. i had a roof run once. there were like 10 bags up there and all of them were ones i had made except for one. we have a courtyard in my school so that is where everyone hacks (except for me, i play footbag :D ). fortunately
i didnt get caught, but i dropped my bags down(not thinking to put them in my pockets) and all of a sudden kids are rushing, grabbing bags and running.
yup, and after that it was one long hard week of beating up wangstas to get my bags back, jk  :) . nope, actually i would ask if i could please have my bag that they stole and they would say no. then i would show them the exact fabric i made them with in my backpack. finally i would get my bags back along with the new rips and tears from those blasted timberland boot toe ups. but i got them back. ha ha...bastards. 8O 8O 8O
by the way, now if we get caught on the roof we get 5 days suspension or somethin like that.
Erik Savage- i make and sell footbags for 22 bucks. i also trade.

Haha, we just always asked the janitor and he would bring the bag right back to us for the next break...and we kept kicking. :P

Dude, I did that at a foodlion. I had to go to the loading dock and climb a 18 wheeler. Only difference was that mine was for a frissbee. I'll film it next time.

ummm... thanks very much, but are we talking about the same vid still?
Hahaha, I definately hoped that nobody would notice the massive (super-obvious) tan line in my RawSko Rhapsody vid if that's what your talking about.

no worries

Great video. I think the roof sceen could have used some harsher editing, but I really enjoyed the rest of it. I'm supprised that the vice-principle let you film her scolding you and didn't try to confiscate the film. That must have been alot of fun. :D

she didn't know she was being filmed (somehow :? ). I had to just point the camera at her without looking though, so that's why it's not including her face.
