Good, I'm glad you recognize that. Hitting new tricks and links is exciting, and makes for good blog reading, but really owning your basic tricks is key to developing. As I've gotten older, I've really come to appreciate the joy of just hitting your basics well. Can't wait to see how your game develops at the next tourney.

do you plan on going to the US open?

hey anyway

i had a pretty good drilling session, and i also had a chi moment or something
i was drilling and something just didnt feel right, so i took about 3 minutes took some deep breaths, thought about what i was doing, and just relaxed,

the first thing after that i hit 10 PDX mirage in a row, my stepping improved, my pixie improved, landed dyno in a string, landed pickup bsos X10 and finished one of my challenges and i landed far legover on my flip as well as landed far pickup. (it was a very productive day! :D )

diving clipper >ducking clipper 8)

oh yeah! and thanks for the props fletch

well today was a pretty good day, i had three sessions, and something unbelievable happened, the swan valley crewgot sponsored!, the cool thing about it was that we werent looking for a sponosor, they just knda asked if we wanted them to sponsor us, so i told them yes! They are going to help pay for every competition that we go to, if we have to have a hotel they willpay for it. that help pay for food, equipment, and they're making us a team jersey, i think its a cool thing, although footbag isnt generally the thing you see getting sponsored.

on a side note had an 11:0pm session with kyle, it was a pretty good session all and all, we counted contacts kyle got 15 tilt at one point and for some reason i couldnt beat 10, but thats okay thats why i practice 8)

edit: had a 2-3 am session later on, i landed 2 things that ive never landed before. I landed zooming toe, and a simple combo that i never thought of: frigid osis> rev wrap>walk over>pickup>pixie muted clipper

the matt cross bag is retired more or less, i dont kick with it near as often anymore because if the massive holes that are starting, bot other than that, my sponsor is the Lodge at Palisades Creek. They have many people stay there including Henry Winkler, The Vice pres, wynona ryder, theres alot of famous people that go there...(they call themselfves a world class resort) but yeah, they can definately afford sponsoring us. Some of the cabins they rent to to the celebs go for 1500$ a night! and they are booked year around

ok so i ve decided to keep a personal record book so that later in my footbag career i can look back on these and reflect, how ive gotten better/worse.

the green text means how many i did in a row out of 20. So if you see a trick thats i got 10 in a row it means that im 50% closer to were i want to be.
and if i get a 20/20 then on the next post i will remove that one from the list, so that i know that i finished it

Clipper Bsos 4
Atw Bs 9
Legover Bs 6
Far legover 4
Mirage Bs 10
Mirage From Clipper 8
Symp Mirage 2
Pdx Mirage 3
Butterfly Bs 10
Symp Butterfly 9
Illusion Bs 6
Pick up Bs 3
Toe Pickup 3
Far Pickup 2
Infinity 5
Osis 5
Far Osis 4

Diving Clipper 5
Ducking Clipper 2

Dude amazing u got sponsered!!!!!!! You are a lucky man. About you list above i was just curious about clipper BSOS. You hit 9/20 butterfly but only 4/20( 420) clippers. Not trying to put u down at all! Just wondering whats up. Good luck with the sponser, thats some of the best footbag news i'v heard in awhile!

Yeah, that is pretty cool. Where were you guys playing that they just came up and asked? I wonder why they think a footbag sponsor makes much sense for a hotel, but either way-- $1500 is a buttload of money so I guess they can afford it. Congrats :!:
