I am glad France beat Spain 3 to 1. Didn't get to see the game because I am at work but I followed it online.

the second brazil goal was offsides, even twice, on the first pass adriano was already offsides, and the second pass was a tough call, but video showed it was offfside. unfortunately the human eye is not capaple of detecting offside by 100%, you can only make educated guesses.

whether or not a ghana player touches it in between, doesn't matter, unless he significantly changes the direction of the path of the ball.

i really wanted ghana to win, such a sham, cause brazil really didn't play convincing at all.

Ghana played quite well despite not having Essien. The Ghanaian forwards just aren't at the same level as the Brazilian ones and couldn't finish on the opportunities they had.

If someone else 'I will profess my bias again..' like Germany puts up a tight midfield and defense that can read their passes, they could be taken down - finally hehe. I think I remember seeing Brazil have a bit of a hassle trying to pass through Croatia in their group match. The midfield was airtight, and Brazil reset it back to the keeper every three or four passes.

P.S. - No soccer for the next two days. Not cool.

Germany will be playing against Argentina. Germany's got to stop their attacks in the midfield, Metzelder and Mertesacker are definitely too slow for Saviola, Crespo, Rodriguez, Tevez, Messi, etc... Of course, Klose and Podolski can smash their defence as well, with great counter-attacks (the first half of the Germany - Sweden).
A quick goal for Germany would be great - maybe not for the match, but for Germany winning the game.

Kahn never looks very happy on the bench, even when Germany scores...

Looking forward to Brazil vs The Grand Old Men too.

Ok so they're not all that young anymore... but on the other hand they have a solid experience of difficult international knock-out games. Enough experience to beat the younger spaniards that were hailed as one of the best Spanish line-ups in many years.

respectively is reffereing to 2 or more things in the order they were mentioned beforehand. For example:

person a: who played yesterday?
person b: france and spain
person a: what was the score?
person b: 3 to 1 repectively

Lauri: you can record all the matches, so by watching them all over again you'll survive the next two years.

Being a football holigan would be cool one. I was just talking with a friend about that. We planned that we'll go like in 2014 to the World Cup and go see just one match and just drink the rest of the month. That'd be sweet.

Arrrgh such a frustrating game. Both goals were awesome though especially Klose's. Podolski's assist ( i think it was him) was craily accurate...
