So.
This weekend as previously stated I went to Pittsburgh. Played probably about 14 hours over 3 days. Came home Monday, kicked for like 2 hours. My parents confronted me today about over excersising. They said they saw some shit on Oprah about how anything over 2 hours a day is bad for your body and your systems. I think Oprah can shut the hell up and then go run for 3 hours.
So I thought maybe they were right. (Not Oprah, my parents). So I might take it easier. I'm not going to get all chumpy and start playing chess or scrabble, but I may not shred for hours on end on the pavement. I'm not sure.
So I was going to post this thing that I got that's my routine from Spike and Shred, but the music quality sucks. So... you wouldn't like it. So scratch that.
Scott's g/f had a johnny cash cd. I've been listening to him latley. Good shit.
Later Thunderbirds.

Oprah's a fat ass who's been on and off diets too much to give any qualitative advice about "overexercising." But your parents may be right: it'll be good to take it easy once in awhile.
Obviously I don't have the right to say that, because I really want to play with experienced players a lot more than twice a week. But I digress, since I need to find time to do more solo shred.

I looked at ashley's blog. It bummed me out. I went to a party tonight. That bummed me out too.
I hate when I go to places and act all quiet and shy. I know I'm a lot cooler then the normal guy who sits in the corner.
I know my priorities are messed up. There's just too much going on to fix them. And even if I made the effort to fix them, maybe what I change wouldn't be right at all.
I'm not sure why I just got hit with a wave of weirdness. Actually I do know, but I'm not about to put it on a hacky sack message board.
Later.

Hey Dave. I guess I either haven't seen much recent footage of you or just haven't paid enough attention. Looking at the pic of you and that sweet-ass trophy I couldn't even recognize you... except for your eyes.
Not sure what my point is, but I just thought it was odd.

People should stop littering Dave's blog with "Happy Birthday" messages. Don't you know there's a special forum dedicated to this subject already?
Oh yeah, while I'm here: Dave, you were in a dream of mine last week. I had just eaten a falafel or pizza or something on the main street at Brown University, when I ran into you on the street. You were with two other footbaggers who I didn't know (I think they were new to the sport), so I joined you guys and we decided to walk down College Hill. I don't think we talked about footbag, just random stuff. Anyway, when we made it down the hill, the area by the river was undeveloped (in real life there are lots of buildings, but in the dream it was like fields and marshland). It's early evening, so the moon is out and it's huge, but you can still see. Up in the sky we notice a plane that is flying way too low, and you can even see the individual windows. It's an Alitalia plane, and I say out loud: "that plane isn't going to land normally" cause it's going way too fast at that low height. The nose of the plane hits the ground and the plane bounces up once, then it hits right under the belly, which makes it bounce back to the nose, but this time the angle is worse and the nose starts kicking up ground as it does a nose stand (still moving forward) then it decomposes and explodes, breaking up into lots of small parts. We all start running now, and split up. We're all in shock about almost dying, and seeing something so incredible. Then I look up and see 3 F-16s flying low, shrieking over us. One of them passes too close to the fireball caused by the Alitalia plane, and in turn it catches fire too, and crashes also. Now we're all freaking out, when out of the sky a missile hits and incinerates you and one of the other footbaggers. I continue running away when.... I wake up. Scary shit eh?

weird. i had a dream that we were in love and had 2 children no one knew about. i wish i never woke up.
Anyway, I had on OK birthday. Went out to dinner with my folks, went and saw Superman Returns. It was pretty good.
Today I have a little family party for my birthday and then I have to work from 7-11. Not that bad, and grocery stores are dead at that hour anyway. Although... it could be busy becuase of the 4th of July.
So the other day I ran 2 miles and then kicked real hard for like an hour. And my body still is really sore. I think when I ran I just used muscles Inormally dont and it messed me up. Who knows though, I feel a bit stronger. I think I'll kick tommorow.
Well, nothing else is new besides that. I think I might post some footage once I get my cables from dat.
