What is this?

Okay, so i went to walk my dog at about 10pm and when i get back i'm frozen. Theres this creepy looking bug that is on my screen door(the glass part). Its wing span is just over an inch and its legs look spiky. I was so creeped out cause I'm scared of big bugs(ie. spiders, scorpions, flying and stinging insects, and bugs i haven seen before).

What is that?

Haha, and i ended up catching it in a plastic container.

I have no idea what that is. The picture is a bit blurry, granted, but I have never seen a bug with spiky legs like that.

You say you're scared of bugs but you caught it in a container? Damn, way to step up to your fears! Now that you have it captured, at least you can observe it / photograph it more and eventually figure out what the heck it is.

I think it's a bigger version of the mosquito, I've seen some pretty big mosquitos down here in Az.

Its not a mosquito cause it has no, uh, mouth thing(haha, im not sure what you call it).

I submitted the photo to some bug expert guy and he'll email me what he thinks/knows it is.
