what keeps you'll motivated?

Download some Moir sessions, some vasek footage.Imagine that if you train hard you can shred like them.

Hiting new stuff is also wonderful.

A lil advice on your sessions.Warp up hard with toe>op toe etc. Then go for them legover and mirages.

latley since schools ben out and iv been enjoying summer i havent been playing as much as i really want, my skill level remains the same but to motivate me i just look at peoples blogs and see how they progressed since i last came on modified(which isnt often) and seeing how easy it is to get good makes me want to play so badly, i have to start making myself consitant with shred i have to get that urge to play back into my system.

1. Stop doing clipper kicks. It's the opposite of what you're trying to achieve, and you're inhibiting your body from learning the muscle memory for clipper.
2. Really drill the inside stalls. Get to where you can do a ton of them alternating, same, and stall at different heights with inside too. Get those really strong.
3. Try using your hand to place the bag on your foot in clipper position. Then if you can, slowly move your foot up and down. Do reps of that.
4. Jump into the stall. That is, drop the bag and jump into clipper position. This will help your clipper foot kinda naturally go down a little when you land. When you time this perfectly with the bag hitting your foot, you've done a clipper.

It took me 2-3 months to get clipper down. For most, it's one of the most frustrating and hard to learn moves in the game. But you'll get it. And once you do it's really easy after that. Oh stop playing on those grassy slopes too. You'll get no support for your moves on those.

thanks, i'll try that.... but as for the grassy hilly slopes, i'm not gonna have much of a choice.

i work at a day camp (i'm a lifeguard). and we sit around when camp's over for about half an hour waiting for all the kids to leave before we can... and everything is grass there, and where we sit around its hilly... so i've tried to manage and found taht its alot of fun doing it on a hill, facing uphill that is. but i don't really try on hills, mainly just kick it around w/ my friend who wants to get into footbag but sux like major donkey dick.... his mirage is horrible! (he'll fling out his leg, do the dex, then when ur supposed to stall it, he squeeze stalls it with both feet) he can't string it, and its a horrible habit i try to get him out of... but he wont' buy lavers idk y (but i did get him a brand new sandman a few weeks ago...
ne who... thanx, -drill inside stalls, -alternate sides, -never give up hope...
god i love this forum

I hate to tell you all that are just starting, but get used to being frustrated. It's apart of footbag. I've been playing 2 1/2 years and I still get frustrated all the time, but it just makes it that much better when you beat what's frustrating you.

Example: When I first started, I couldn't get osis consistently. I worked on it all the time, but it just wouldn't get any better. I kept at it and it slowly got better. A few months ago I beat my personal record for osis and did 296. That's my motivation for playing footbag right there.

No, I don't play soccer. Yes, there are competitions. 4 years. Lots of practice.

Haha yeah me too. I think everyone goes through the osis blues. It's weird how the move becomes cozier over time.
