02JUL2006 - Sunday
Taste of Chicago
Thankfully it didn't rain, cuz it was looking like it was agonna. But the sun came out like a muff later on, and tanned us good.

Me, Nathan, Reile, Shawn, Freddy, Al, Chris and Jeff came out. Kicked for a good many hours.

I think this is the first real time I kicked with Jeff. He and Chris progressed so fast. Nice. Freddy was kinda throwing down as well. He needs to freestyle more - he gotta potential. No mo 4 square for you! at least not until u finish ur dinner! ... I mean ur freestyle. I was happy to see Shawn as I always am. And Nathan, quit that habit... but some pretty nice flat clippers. Reile in da house 4eva.

I kicked rather well for he first half of the sesh. I had some pretty long strings sometimes. I also hit my 2nd and 3rd 6 add moves ever.

2nd Blurry Blender!
1st ever Whirlygig!!!
Both from rt ft clp
also paradon swirl (lft toe) and high plains drifter!
New double switch over record = 7

Later on I was pretty winded, and it was hot, and I was breathing hard, but still had fun.

There were lots of onlookers checking us out which was cool. This dud threw 4 dollars onto our circle. This other dude asked to film me on his phone.

Thanks, Andrew.
My record several years ago was 6. I should try for more. :)

05JUL2006
Kicked with Josh and Jake @ Portage.
This drunk guy came up at the beginning and said how we had all this free time, but he was uber impressed. Apparently being at the park in the middle of a day, drinking, avoiding work (his words), offering us to smoke a bowl, and ltalking about yelling at his old lady is not a waste of time. He as such a winner. He sucked alot of energy from us, and I kinda kicked bad the rest of the session. Maybe not because of him, but I'd like to blame him for something.

I did hit Symp DLO (Nova) from left toe on Jake's suggestion.

08JUL2006 - Saturday
Kicked @ taste. Just hacking. This guy came up and said he saw a vid of me on his friends phone who'd been there last week. He asked me to show him some moves. I did. Otherwise kinda nice hacking. Good circle. Not a lot of dropping.

09JUL2006 - Sunday
sleep 1-10... very good compared to lately. Made a tits breakfast which i ate with my sis and cousin. Should feel good...
Freestyle @ taste. I'm happy @ all who came out. Somehow I couldn't really play. The sleep was different, off my natural rhythm. Couldn't play at all - not even hack.

11JUL2006
No kicks.

12JUL2006
Wednesday. around 7. played for 1.3 hours.
I was sweating like a mofo halfway through, and it wasn't even hot out. I didn't take long rests at all, that's prolly why. Shorts were wet! Felt good. Getting back in shape.

Warmed up kicks and clippers for about 10 minutes.
20 swirls BS. 3 in a row flip! Lots of freezing.
10 whirl>whirl>whirl Flip. Really easy. Got the first 6 with no drop (but with reset).
10 spinning clipper>spinning clipper BS. GS = easy. FS getting better. Set up straight and stabilize.
10 Barflies BS. GS = easy. Flip got easier when started doing faster dexes.
10 blender>infinity BS. Fun.
10 Merkons BS
20 pushups
5 torques BS
15 pushups
5 torques BS
15 pushups
10 torques BS
15 pushups
20 flip eggbeaters.

A couple of front flips with hands. Gotta thrust legs forward in order to land better.

Thanks. Normally I'll do four sets of 20 pushups>20 reverse pushups = 160, but I'm just getting back into it and need to build up to it after a few times.

13JUL2006
4 square was fun. Won a game with a cool back-to-guy between legs>fake legover ;).

Freestyled with Reile later. We were both tired. I schooled yesterday and that's prolly what did it. Did manage to hit some new moves though.

Stepping Barrage. from left ft clp. Reile did it first then I tried.
Flip Blurry Blender from left ft clp. Third 6 add move!
LOTUS from left ft clp.
Flip Blurry Drifter from left ft clp.
BLURRY TORQUE from left ft clp. Fourth 6 add move! footed one side. then was finally able to do other side after multiple good footed times.

Reile and I were struggling to hit our last moves. We were so tired. I really thought, I'll just try next time when I'm not tired," but Reile encouraged, and we both hit our moves. After he gave me a tip on dolomite, and I almost hit it. I'mma try it next time. Also i hit blurriest, Nova, mobius, and vortex again.

Reile gave me a ride home :). We went to white hen (like 711). I asked the dude if he could microwave my honeybun for 10 seconds (that sounds dirty), and he did...then he came back and I asked him to pour water on my can cause it was dirty (lol, that sounds a little weird too). After 2 seconds of thinking, "wtf?" he did that too.

Then in the car I saw a spider on the window - but the window was open. So he was just chillin on the web swaying close to me and my warm honey bun. I tried to blow him away, but the web didn't break and he just pendulumed all the way back towards me. I kept trying to blow him off... it wasn't working... I spilled my drink on my lap... I was freaking out... I yelled, "Get away from me!"... my futile attempts were not working, people outside were like, "wtf?"... then I wacked him with my hand, and he was gone.
...Afterward - crying laughter ensued.

... pdx blender so easy both sides. One side was 1st time! (Could already hit food processor b4 pdx blender :? ). Other side was like 3rd or 4th. I also hit food proc, stepping whirl, bedwetter, vortex BS, pixie paradon, blurrier, pdx ripwalk, and WHIRR! My second whirr ever! The first one was semi-flukish 3 years ago. This one was way more controlled. My body stiffened a little later (5 is a kinda bad number circle size - get cold), which led to my back hurting after the next sfew strings pulled those stiff muscles. Now I can't straighten my back all the way. I jacuzzied it up with some hot water, and hopefully this night's sleep will help, but I'm afraid the stiffness is gonna last at least a day or two.
