Great stuff Byrin! What is your furious technique (man, footbag talk can sound so cool sometimes)?

- Bedwetter twice on each side in one string (did that with Fogs too)

I call that "double bsos," as in: "I hit fog double bsos."

Snap. Finally got to my blog, after having reading a shit load out of the few blogs I keep up with. I miss everyone here :(.

I want to relay how life is, but I don't know. My room looks sweet, I'm getting more money at work soon, been working out, eating healthy, lots of footbag but not as much stretching as I need. That's about it. It's also been hot over here. I've also am in the stages of learning hwo to juggle with clubs. Woo woo.

I can't even remember the footbag highlights I have. I *did* make a video of a bit of footage Kevin and I got on Sunday but I don't knwo when that will make its way to the internet. I need to drill things better (like Eggbeaters and DLOs) and then be able to string better.

I feel as though I have high expectations to fulfill within the next few weeks for ShrEdmonton.

- Enterrage
- Bedwetter > Dimwalk > Bedwetter > Dimwalk > Fog > Dimwalk (can't seem to do Bedwetters or Fogs anymore :()
- 22 contacts of Whirl War 1
- Blurry Whirl x 3 bsos + Blurry Whirl > Blurry Whirl
- Scorpion's Tail x 3
- Gyro Rev. Swirl > Twirl bs
- Rev. Swirl x 11 bsos

Some other things too, but you will have to wait and see if that video comes out.

EDIT - The technique I started doing for furious sets is a lot more vertical now. Before I used to think of it as a 'symp whirling quantum' set, but now... umm... well still the same but you move your leg differently. haha, that's really doesn't help, it would be a lot easier to explain in person and if I could move my leg to show you what I mean. Basically, watch how Anssi does his furious sets - that's where I got the technique from :).

Trespassing!

So I got a 50 cent raise at work, and have begun training to run margarine to become a backup operator. I think training lasts a month or so, then I my pay goes up to 18 - 19 dollars an hour. HUZZAH!!

My back is sore, probably from work, but it didn't stop me from drilling shuffle last night. Lots of good highlights from the recent sessions, I hope I can keep this state for the next few months.

- Quark (had it off the foot on my weak side)
- Pdx Whirling Swirl
- Quantum Whirl bs
- Muted Stepping ss Symple Rev. Swirl bs
- Atomic Blender bs
- Rubberman with Bedwetters :!:
- Mobius > Gyro Rev. Swirl bs
- Gyro Rev. Swirl > Gyro DLO bs
- Spinning Whirl x 7 bs
- 7 unique fearless
- Dyno > Dyno almost quadrupled bsos (dropped the last one :()
- 13 unique Fairy shuffle
- Barfly x 9
- Pdx Eggbeater > Fairy Butterfly x 2 (fairy sets out of Eggbeaters feels very unnatural)
- Rev. Swirl x 21 on one side and x 19 on the other
- Ducking, Diving, Weaving and Zulu Clippers feel solid (I can do non-shuffle???)
- Diving Mirage > Diving Butterfly x 2
- Zulu Osis > Gyro Rev. Swirl bsos

And that's about it... I think. Today I'm going to go over downtime components, Friday I can't go to the YMCA because I'm working (:(:(:() so it will be another solo sesh, and Sunday Kevin is going to coach me on my Shred 30.

Lots of footbag. Lots of stretching. Lots of protein. And trying to get lots of sleep.

Shit, it's been almost a month since I've been able to post here. I have a huge list of highlights on my computer, but lucky for you guys I can't remember them all :P. ShrEdmonton was freakin awesome, I played so well, and it was such a treat to see everybody again. It was hard to see them go *holds back a tear* :( .

Alright. So ShrEdmonton has inspired me to start focusing more on crosstraining for footbag when I work out, so I've been doing cardio exercises and a lot more core training. I would do legs as well, but my knees hurt too much to really work my quadriceps :(. Nonetheless, my stomach looks and feels fantastic and that is alright by me :D!

- Swivel bs
- Gyro Swivel bs
- Spinning Swivel bs
- Blurry Swivel bs
- Rev. Swirling Blender bs
- Spinning Ducking DLO
- Pdx Whirling Swirl weakside
- Gyro Swivel bsos
- Torque > Swivel bs
- Pdx Blender > Twirl bsos
- Bedwetter > Bladerunner
- Pdx Torque > Rev. Swirl x 2
- Dolomite > Backside Blur bs
- Vortex > Barroque
- Spinning Whirl x 10 on my right side and x 11 on my left
- Pdx Drifter x 10 bs
- Drifter x 31

Can't remember any others, but those ones stand out right now. Hopefully Kevin and I can get our internet working soon...

I will hit Super Ego... as soon as I know what that is :P. And thanks for the props Max, Ian and Setman. Feels good to be able to post in here regularly again :D

Today Kevin and I kicked in a park that had about 30,000 people in it. We had to park 2km away so we could get in, but it was a good session. Weather wasn't too hot, but very warm with a bit of a breeze. I think we spent 4 hours down there, maybe a bit more.

- weakside PS Eggbeater :)
- Mobius > Diving Clipper x 2
- Over 40 Diving Clippers in a run (I beat my Diving Clipper record twice on each side :D)
- Spinning Ducking Clipper x 7 bs
- Blizzard > Omelette > Reactor bsos
- Smudge > Omelette > Smudge > Omelette > Pixie ss Illusion > Tapping Illusion > Pixie ss Illusion > Tapping Illusion off the foot
- Started off with strong 20 contact runs, but those deminished after about 2 hours.

Kevin did...
- Pandamonium bsos
- 18 unique pixie drill
- Some long strings.
- Probably other things that I can't remember right now.

Yeah, it was a good session for sure. We even met a pair from England who seemed totally stoked about learning footbag. :)

Tomorrow is work out day, and the next sesh will be on Wednesday.

Fuck, that sounds hard! The only Blenders I've ever ducked was Gangsta Party, haha. Atomic Blender (or Ego?) is hard enough :? .

Blog video from over a month ago!

July 2nd

Mostly just tricks and links.

Workout today. Cardio, abdominals and pecks, then I think triceps and back when my friend Nolan arrives. Fuck it should be hardcore.

Nah, Ego = Atomic Ducking Whirl, which you hit both sides with ease in one of your older videos, I assumed a Blender wouldn't be that much harder for you.

Had a sesh outdoors this evening, but because I haven't had the best of nights this week it wasn't too great. Still some highlights...

- Spinning Blender bsos
- weakside Spinning Blender twice mid-string
- Pdx Blender > Pdx Whirl x 2 almost bsos
- Toe ss Torque > Rev. Swirl > Gyro Legover x 2
- Spinning Whirl > Scorpion's Tail > Mobius bsos
- Whirligig > Spinning Blender bs

Also may have promoted the growth of footbag in Tutoyuktuk (spelling is probably wrong on that one).
