Came back from being sore and not playing for 3 days to having 2 mighty good sessions. Both 45 minutes long. One yesterday in my garage, one tonight at the tennis courts. I would write what I hit, but I filmed yesterday's session and would like it to be a surprise if I make a vid.

Nothing else is really new. Some girl at work gave me her number, but never wants to hang out. Ladies.

Think I'll get to bed early tonight. Work tommorow for 4 hours. Maybe play some footbag. Fireworks at night I believe. Should be ok.

So I'm finally starting to have a good social life. But I come home every night at like 1 and shit and my parents get really pissed cuz they want to sleep. And it just sucks. I'm not out getting wasted, I'm hanging out and playing FIFA or some shit.

Lame. And now I'm grounded cuz I got home at 1:30. I'm 18 not 12.

Ugh.

When I was 18, I told my parents that they couldnt tell me what to do anymore. It worked.

I remember when I was grounded, like, 4-5 years ago. I kind of missed having some parental authority over me. Now it's just plain nagging.

So today I played really well, and I was all stoked because I thought it was all on my camera. Turns out my battery died after 20 minutes.

Guess I'll just have to get footage some other time.

So if you remember from 7 inches up, some chick gave me her number. Turns out she was just doign what friends do. Looked like a real d-bag when I asked her about it.

So this led me to think about stuff. And I realized that a lot of the time I jump into things real fast. Or I read into them too much. I automatically thought this was like, a cool thing becuase of one thing. Which was really lame.

So I guess I have a lot of weird character things I'd like to change. Shit like knowing how to get around in cities and such. I feel like I'm way too small townish, even with all my footbag experience. I find myself following people, not leading. Cuz if I led, I'd just get lost. I think maybe this lack of experience and knowledge comes from 1) my place of being and 2) my parents and such. I also think that going to Penn State won't help becuase thats not a city, its just some college town.

Idk. This was the first reflective blog post in a while. Always good to write down your state of mind i guess. I'm glad no one reads this. Lol. 14,000 views or some shit. It's probably just Panda Licker.

One thing I noticed that you might want to be wary of is that, as soon as college begins, everyone starts trying to get a significant other right away. I think people miss the unconditional love they get at home and the security of having others; the start of college is like being a fish out of water-- no friends, no saftey net, no rules. I'm not sure if you'll see this as a good thing or a bad thing: it's easy to get into a relationship with a hot girl in the early months of college, but it is a very shallow relationship solely for social reasons.

You'll probably find that a very interesting time.

I liked the videos. mob>food was a pretty sweet link and I liked all the 6s you were linking in both the videos, especially at the end of the second. The inspinning and toe spinning were cool, liked how they kinda came out of nowhere.

I graduated and turned 18 in June and my parents still make me come home all early. If I wasn't using their car I wouldn't let it go.

But they did try to keep making me go to church with them every Sunday and I just said I didn't care what they said, I wasn't going and that worked. So just telling them no can work. Grounding you when you're 18 is pretty lame anyway, that shouldn't happen.
