Bail?
Bail?
I'm back with a question after my long absence from modified due to World of Warcraft and its addicting grasp it has over people. I was wondering if when I go from a clipper to a toe stall is considered bailing because if it is I want to change my game. I want to know if its considered a bail even if its right to another move like mirage or legover. Heres a short clip from today.

yup thats totaly a bail, i used to have that problem with toe, pretty bad, but ive been trying to get out of it, just work on linkning tricks together rather than doing them seperately, i hope this helps

a bail is usually stepping down a level of play (like if i was guiltless, hitting a mirage midstring would be a bail)
but if your not hitting lots of big tricks in a string, dont worry.
bailing isnt so much of a big deal when your learning. just try to hit solid strings with the best accuracy you can

IMO, the toe stall is definitely a bail. When you practice linking tricks or hitting "runs", you should be trying to link 2 adds without throwing in any 1 add moves. HOWEVER, another very good way of improving is to try to keep the bag off the ground for as long as possible, which sometimes means throwing in a few toes here and there tp lengthen your runs. It all comes down to this: when you're playing with other people, you want to push your game and not bail, but when you're training at home you can do whatever seems right to you.

I see your goal is 15 tiltless, in which case that clipper > toe is definitely a bail. That's OK though! I used to do it too, it was a real roadblock in my tiltless game.
This predicament gives you a chance to learn some new moves. You need to get from clipper to toe with a 2-ADD trick. Here are some options:
Clipper-set Mirage aka near mirage. Some people actually find this easier than regular toe mirage once they get the hang of it.
Paradox Mirage. A little bit harder (it's a 3) but a good move to have in your repetoire.
Clipper-set SS pickup (near pickup). This one is pretty fun, and feels good.
Near and Far Legover. Good moves to know as well. Set from clipper to a legover with the other foot (near) or with the same foot (far).
Ducking (anything). Ducking out of your clipper set is very important to learn. I'm still working on it myself. But the beauty is even a ducking toe is still a 2-add move.
Work on those moves! Clipper set mirage was my first clipper to toe non-bail move both sides. Once you have one of those down both sides you will be a tiltless machine!

Bro i wouldnt worry about bailing until you are playing at a guiltless level. Bailing is where you drop to a trick below the level you usually play at, or if you attempt a trick and fuck up and hit something lesser eg. trying whirlygig but fucking the set and hitting like, stepping op symple butter or something like that.
If you are playing at a tiltless level then dont worry about it at all, just concentrate on making all your 2 adds easy and good form, then start the guiltless combos, until you are confident playing only 3 adds, then beat urself up about hitting 2s instead of 3s
